There is someone to blame, it’s the same guy it’s always been. The guy putting the team together and giving out the baffling instructions. The guy who hasn’t done any demonstrable coaching in over two seasons. These are professional players who look like they can’t do the basics. Yet much lesser players at other clubs can. It’s all down to coaching.

When you put a team out that is set up suicidially, like lambs to a slaughter, and they start getting pulled apart in front of 75,000 rabid fans, you can’t rip on that player for looking nervous and without confidence. It’s my idea of torture. People baying for your blood and screaming abuse at you for everything you’ve done wrong, when 95% of what you’re doing is what the manager has told you to do.

Ten Hag is such a bad manager that I think we’d look better if we had no manager and told the players, go out there, organise yourselves and do the best you can. He gives them instructions that are actively self destructive.

Liverpool have been clinical, no doubt about it, but talk about absolutely handing it to them on a plate. Pretty much gifted all three goals.

They would have fancied their chances given our recent results, but they can’t have imagined how easy we’d make it. Have barely had to break sweat yet will win the game at a canter.
