Take the corner short, give to rashford, loses possession immediately.

Lost the chance to launch it into the box. Why do this team make such small, stupid decisions? They don’t do the simple things.

We are Man United, not Crystal Palace to enjoy "playing well" while losing and going out of the cup against the mighty Liverpool for God's sake. Some of you can't comprehend how big Man United is supposed to be.
Get lost you only post to shite on the club and your only argument is always « blabla standards » regardless of the actual state of the team.

Go look at excel sheets if you only care about results, or youtube clips of Ferguson’s era

Another fecking genius short corner designed to let Rashford run down a blind alley.

We have Hojlund, Varane and McTominay in the fecking box. PUT IT IN THERE

We are not a serious football team.

It’s 100% by design as well. It wouldn’t matter if Casemiro was in there, Eriksen, Mount, whoever. It’s the same story every game. I’d love to know what ETH thinks it brings us other than frailties.

Rashford looks like when you start new player career in PES but just use those points to increase your speed and shot, and your ball control and power is around 60s level.

Yeah I agree, although it was working for the first 30 minutes.
Isn't this the crux of the issue? No matter what we do, it only ever works for half an hour. Remember that famous 30 minutes against Spurs last season? It was glorious. Then we lost

Come on out everything into this half! Don't give up already!

Problem is, every game, it’s working 30 minutes…
In fairness, I think it’s worked more today than I’ve ever seen. I don’t like the midfield set up, but it’s not the thing that caused us to concede those goals in the first half.

Bruno is the worst United captain I can recall, and Rashford is merely a product of the youth academy who we will continue to wait on to assume responsibility and a leadership role for as long as he remains with us, and he will never truly step into it.
Both are definitions of everything that is wrong with this club
    Correct on both points.

Looks like we’re gonna lost this.
They look mentally absent for this second half.

Very frustrating after what they were able to propose in the first half

Exactky which is why the calling of Casemiro etc shit is miles wide of the mark, these players are setup to fail.

EtH has to go I’m afraid.

To be fair to the other poster, we were playing very well and were on top for about 40 minutes of that first half. We let it slip for those final few minutes through two bits of poor play. The second of which was unforgiveable, right on the stroke of half time and due to poor in-game management. Obviously, can't defend those moments and can't legislate for it, but that was still (overall) one of the better and stronger halves we've played all season for the most part.

Frustrating that we're losing this. But, we let ourselves down. Now we need to start again. Important we get the next goal.

No, but one of the most poorly defended ones.
Your comment makes it sound like this is an isolated snapshot, when in fact it's defined how we've defended all season.
It’s literally a snapshot. It’s a single frame when we’ve been attacking and Liverpool have hit us on the counter, we’ve got 4 defenders plus a midfielder back defending that have retreated and are about to step up.

I’m not saying we are great at defending or in midfield I just think it’s moronic to take single frames out of context and think it’s making some sort of point.

One simple sideway pass by them and 4 of our plays are out of the game. What on earth are these lot doing.

I may be in my own camp here but I'm pleased with the first half, that they didn't destroy us. I have no expectations with this lot, same team different week. I just hope we keep the score down today, I can see the second half getting ugly.

Bruno is not the smartest with some of his footballing decisions

He's trying to implement high press football with a defense whose only capable of playing a deep line. That leaves a gap as big as the great canyon. I am also fed up of having two attacking minded CMs
This is a very easy problem to fix. Either press and take the chance or don't. What we do is neither here nor there and what the idea is I can't fathom.

Smash and grab From Pool. We should have been two up and they knocked two goals.

A deflected shot and a second that could, of been called back for a foul, any luck going is with pool.

That said, our team is bad at calming games down when momentum against us. Can’t believe we are down after that half, it’s easier to take
when we are muck and deserve to lose, this is painful.

Its like we play without a captain. Bruno needs to show leadership in those moments. This guy just stands and watches whilst others have to clear up his shamefull neglect of duties. If one thing I don't agree with ETH is his talks about Bruno being great prospect. He just isn't.

What midfielder? IIRC it was just our back 4 sat in shape. Midfield is all past the halfway line
