    as it stands at the moment I would go with

    Heaton
    A.W.B Maguire Varane Malacia
    Mctom
    Eriksen Bruno
    Sancho Martial Rashford

    Be brave and hope for the best probably lose 3-1.​
     
    Apparently there are concerns about whether the OT scoreboards go high enough to record all of Liverpool's impending goals.
     
    United won’t even have a shot on target. The “match” will be over within 11-15 minutes. Maguire will be on a yellow inside 10 minutes. 7-0 is my prediction for Liverpool.
     
    Football can be a strange game - on paper we should get a hiding…..expectations will be so low - rock bottom.

    However sometimes when a performance is so bad as at Brentford there has to be a reaction.

    We cannot be that bad again and Liverpool will not be like they were in last seasons match.

    Im going for a draw - 1-1 or 2-2 draw.

    Big shake up by Erik this week.

    It looked light I might not be going to this one, but it turns out I definitely will be, so my Old Trafford losing steak continues.

    You already know the players wont turn up and the ones that get picked will be so terrified or shit or both they will lose badly

    But fair play to you for your grit. I couldnt do it.
     
    Stroll in the park 3-0 for Liverpool. They will go fast at us and then relax. Easy and obvious gameplan.

    Why would you put the worst CB at the club in the middle at the back against Liverpool?

    We need to play a back 5 that doesnt include Maguire or Shaw.
    Drop Bruno and Rashford.

    Figure it out from there and hope the planets align and liverpool have an off night and only get 5 or 6
     
    Anyone else seen the latest season of Stranger Things? Feel like I am heart the clock chime every day this game gets closer.
     
    Liverpool must be quaking in their boots thinking of the deadly McFred combination.
     
    I hope ETH puts out the same team and just says this is your chance, clean slate, give me 100%. Anyone who buckles under the pressure or messes up is dropped for an extended period. Might actually see some fight from some of them and then we give much changed XI a chance against Soton.

    Wish this was true… we thought we’d get a reaction after losing to Brighton and that things could only get better but no they got worse… only next time we play one of the best teams in Europe not Brentford… expect it to be 6/7 or 8-0.

    Crazier things have happened. We were in absolutely rotten form when Ole got a 2-0 win at City with the long range McT goal, if I remember correctly

    It’s getting to the stage where most Utd fans would take a narrow defeat now rather than see what happens.

    I have never experienced this as a Utd fan in my life. This proves it’s the worse it’s ever been!

    Great idea, if you want to see us getting absolutely spanked, that’s only acceptable in sex masochism.
    Nah, Luke Shaw doesn’t deserve to start this match over Malacia, that’s just bad man-management.
    Bruno doesn’t deserve to start that match but he probably, as are some of the others.
    But we can’t just start with the same dross and expect something different just because they’ve had another week of training.
    Its not gonna cut it.

    I never expected to feel that way, especially with this new season starting, I guess the years of incompetence, especially since around 2019 have dropped the standards big time.

    It was a pretty awful Liverpool team, they finished 7th that year.
    They just always made sure to show up against us, even at their worst.
    Do I expect the same from our players? I don’t but I would hope they manage to surprise me.
     
    I‘m tempted to say MU will turn up for this one and win, because that is what often happens in a game like this after losing. Just what we need.

    But seriously, I‘m crapping my pants.
