    Genuinely curious as well. :lol: Our attack apart from Ronaldo has been so poor for close to a year.

    Bruno only scored once and assisted once since Feb, Rashford's last goal was in Jan and he assisted only once since and Sancho only scored once since Feb although he has a couple more assists than the other two. And our players continued this form into this season and failed to score against Brighton(our goal was an own goal!) and Brentford, really struggling to see how can we score against Liverpool.

    He instructed them to do that against Brentford but the useless twats thought standing still with or without the ball was a better idea.

    Would be great news if captain fuddtastic gets dropped to the bench or even better out of the squad, just so he asks for a transfer

    I would have some hope if we had a midfield setup that I could feel confident with. Or goalkeeper. I don't want to see McTominay on the pitch, Fred shouldn't be the deepest nor should Eriksen. So Garner it is? Good that Maguire is benched, though I would have preferred Martinez in midfield and Lindelof in next to Varane.

    This game might be a win win situation for United. Win or draw the game (both highly unlikely) we might kick start our season and bring some optimism. Lose the game, more protests, more pressure on glazers and we probably will bring the players we need before the end of the season like Fdj.

    If players cant get pumped for the scousers, while there will be a big protest and Old Trafford will be roaring, in the situation where we again have our backs against wall, from the situation in and around the club to the state of the deam, while media is kicking us relentlessly while we're down and opposing fans enjoying themselves, than all hope is lost.
    They might lose it but at least show some fight ffs!

    But people can't be fedged, Atleti gets called Athletico in both NL and EN (although less now that they've gained some [in]fame over the years) and Filipe got called Felipe by fans all the doshgarnit time. You think it'd be easy, but maybe they think all nordics are ssons and all brazilian philips are felipes

    no offense but while I understand the 'reading left to right' idea and Malacia gets called left back and AWB right back, if you present it as a top down, with the goalkeeper on top, wouldn't AWB be on the left and Malacia on the right?

    Or is this to put them on the inverse wingers? :drool:
     
    I think we'll start OK and maybe even get to half time level, but the gulf in quality will show eventually. 0-3.

    While we wait for Casemiro to be unleashed, it might not be such a daft idea to play Martinez at CDM. McFred cannot be allowed to start, nor can Eriksen be deployed as a CDM.
     
    If we lose, might as well be a Salah hattrick with TAA triple assist. Atleast helps my FPL team. My whole defence had a horrible week. :lol:
     
    I've changed my team for tonight about 5 times, and each time I can't see us winning. It's going to be a long night.

    Yeah, it's the same with McGuire (actually, that's much worse), Firminho, Bailley etc. Probably a combination of not caring and having a hard time spotting the difference. I mean, it's not exactly Kuszczak.
     
    I am hoping we improve tonight; Liverpool have not been fantastic in their first 2 games.
    I am going for 1-1 hoping we can steal a 2-1 win.
    feck it what's the point of watching, If I don't think we have a chance !
