When he was rumored to go out on loan, only championship teams were looking at him. He's far too inexperienced for any premier league team to want to take him on loan, and the little experience he does have he never exactly stood out with any specific quality, therefore he'd fit in more in the championship for now.

My question exactly. I can only think he wants to fit Milner in somewhere and he’s not getting in ahead of any of the midfield 3. But I would have gone with TAA, big decision.
He's going to sit in front of the back four against a side who doesn't have offensive runners from midfield.
