I really hope that it's been deleted and we can get rid of a great number of them!

Only 2 or 3 were worth reading their posts.

Yeah, but how are we supposed to wind up our resident dipper friends if we don't have access to their thread?

I am looking forward to the game, but I have to admit that I'm not feeling overly confident

Martial, Matic, Lingard unsure, there are too many question marks on key players to feel good. I hope some are just tactics to make it difficult for Klopp. It's terribly nervous in any case, but Ole, the players and our fans at OT will do everything to make us win today, it feels much better than it has done for many years.

Our record when Oliver is the referee. Shocking!

The only football match which can make me nearly vomit my guts out with nerves every morning....can't wait to get to the pub to settle my nerves :nervous:

I think we'll do them today, match their intensity and get Pogba on the ball in midfield and we'll dominate them, pin their full backs and we'll get joy against them

    Going 3-1 United...UTFR :devil::devil::devil:

If we give these 3 points today and they win the league by 6 points or fewer then we only have ourselves to blame. We're already gifted them 3 at Anfield in a game where they looked nervous as feck after we equalised, but our players / manager then stopped playing.

We need Shaw to play another blinder today. And the whole defence to be on point again for that matter.

Ignore the text and just enjoy the picture

I'm trying to enjoy the picture but it's difficult to see beyond Rashford and that nose, especially with the great man angrily pointing at it. Herrera looks to have taken a keen (scientific?) interest in it, too.

    Great pic.

One part of me love these games, another part fecking hates them. Winning it is like the best high you've ever had, actually losing them is so soul crushing it manifests in physical pain.

    Thanks.

Weird because I couldn't even find it through the search engine. How did you find it?
Typed "Liverpool" in the search field and checked "thread titles only". It was way down but it was there.

If Matic is out my confidence will take a hit. Our midfield only performs well when all 3 players are on form. Can see this being like the Alamo if Liverpool are on their game.

Apparently, Matic trained on Friday. Maybe he is fit and didn't travel with the group for other reasons - personal, mind games, etc.

I don't like seeing Fred in central midfield because he loses possession too much, but I do like his work-rate. What about playing him on the right of the front 3. Example Lingard-Rashford-Fred. Here you would have excellent work-rate from all the front 3 and they are supported by Pogba and sometimes Herrera too. I'd rather see Fred play there than Mata, that's for certain

I thought ole said martial was the more likely to be fit?
He did but even with him saying that I thought it was unlikely after him having the same injury before.
    Thanks.

You were either searching in the United forum or you've got Adisa on ignore.

I haven't got anyone on ignore. I'm just not very good at the whole navigating the forum business, which probably isn't a surprise to you.

Gifted? Are you serious? We battered you lot and got rid of your mgr and turned your season around. Your welcome.

Instead of Fergie giving a team talk, just stand him in the technical area and have him keep Oliver in check... no wonder refs have had a good few field days since Fergie retired.

Gone are the days of Bennett and Riley.

If Matic is really out then it's a huge blow. The bookies seem to think that as well with odds of a United win being 3.1 (big odds at home with our current league form). I would be rather surprised if McTominay, Andreas or Fred are trusted to replace Matic and I don't think Ole would throw in another attacking player either. I think this is the first time in the League that Ole has picked four CBs for a match day squad and the only reason I can think of for doing that is he's starting the game with three...

    de Gea
    Bailly Smalling Lindelof
    Young Herrera Pogba Shaw
    Lingard
    Lukaku Rashford
    ---
Romero; Dalot, Rojo; McTominay, Fred; Mata, Sanchez

While I dont see us winning this it is nice to know that every football fan on the entire planet who isnt a scouser wants us to beat these cnuts today.

I honestly only see us beating them by two goals if they have a man sent off.
I'd take a draw right now.

Tbh, our board were probably more concerned about CL qualification than losing to Liverpool. Sad but (probably) true.
