    Unlucky to trail. We've been sloppy in defending. Jones especially. That mess up from Jones led to the corner, and eventual penalty. We had many chances to score. Think this will finish 1-1. Would be devastated if we lose to this team.
     
    The players are mentally weak. We've had issues in big games, they just look so scared

    It's not that much of a surprise, Klopp has done well against Mourinho in the past.
     
    Really disappointing first half.
    Our team seem to be riddled with nerves and uncertainty .
    Liverpool are understrength but we are not getting after them and making it count.
    Pogba is having his worst game on the worst day to do so, Martial and Mkhi not in the game, even Carrick seems affected by nerves.
    Time for Jose to earn his corn now.
    Mata , Rashford and Rooney bound to be called on.

    To be honest mate i couldn't tell if you were talking about our defense or Liverpool's, they have not exactly been solid either.

    Terrible first half. At least treble winnings jinx has worked a treat, he must be one happy scouser right now. Hard to say what has gone wrong other than Pogba being assigned to Lovren on corners. But the fact they are getting corners is an issue.
    During the Anfield game we didn't park the bus, we chased them all over the park and pressed their defenders and defensive midfield, it wasn't pretty but worked. That should be the minimum requirement for the second half. That and we really need to calm down.
     
    Will be really bad if we lose against this Liverpool side!

    We are winning in midfield and have created a few good chances. Almost certain we'll get a few goals, however our backline scares the shit out of me.
     
    Liverpool are such a limited team, it's painful watching us completely bottle it just because Klopp overloads the middle and has them running around a bit.

    Mourinho needs to lay it into them, and we need to go out there in the second half and mentally obliterate them.
     
    United atrocious at set pieces on both ends. While i can give some slack at the attack, the lack of cohesion in the defensive end is just baffling considering this is a Mourinho led Team. You guys are less dangerous than Sporting at corners, which very sad since we are terrible at them. Rojo with zero scoring threat which is quite the contrast from his set pieces days at Sporting.

    I honestly wonder if Mourinho is thinking about subbing Pogba off, he is all over the place today.
     
    Rojo and Tony V the only ones that showed up today with some fight. Gone very quiet around me, need a big start to the 2nd half now, only good thing is that we can't be as bad again.

    Signal is shocking to try watch highlights but a mate said Pogba should be off in the run up to the Ibra free kick?
     
    Never ever be too cocky, it will bite you up your ass. Too many people were writing Pool off and now we need to pray that we win this, if we dont, well we are well and truly fecked. They have executed their game plan perfectly and we have been reeled in. Wont be surprised coutinho comes on in 60 mins to win it for them as that seems to be the plan.
    Big test of Pogba's mentality now, can he conjour up something or will he just flake off. I dont think we win this, draw is our best option.

    Pogba always does this against the top sides as he doesn't get time on the ball like he does against the weaker sides. Under pressure Pogba is really an awful midfielder.
     
    This pressing game is utterly destroying any momentum we manage to build. Herrera has been practically invisible, Pogba has been everywhere but cannt do a anything right. Awful game in all honesty.

    Then again we have managed to create a few chances. So who knows.

    I agree with pogba looking poor that half we still created chances, no doubt he'll come out firing or Mata with jump on, Lfc goal just makes this a hell of difficult game for us, not bad for the neutral so far for sure.
     
    Finishing has been disappointing yet again. Its precisely why we are where we are in the table. Its no coincidence.

    We have created the two or three best chances of the match but couldnt finish it off.

    Credit to the dippers. They have come out with more energy, composure and cohesion. They look like a team. We look spread apart and swarmed in midfield by them.

    Pogba obviously is having a nightmare out there. I just feel the mentality of this squad is still lacking. We dont have it yet and its clear to see when you make mistakes like this in a game of this magnitude.

    Would settle for a draw right now but its going to be hard yards to score a goal for us. We are just so goal shy.
     
    I hope Jose doesn't bring on Rooney. He is the last player we need against a high-pressing team
     
    We really are struggling with their intensity. They just look that yard quicker mentally and physically.

    Saying that though we should be 2-1 up.

    We need to stop letting them take their time and press high ourselves, mignolet is spooning kicks everywhere.
     
    Such a needless and stupid penalty to give away, we bought marque players like Pogba to change games like this, he certainly did that but not in the way we wanted it.
     
    Our two best players just don't turn up in the biggest of games and that's a worry for us with respect to this game. Really need them to get going the second half. Don't see us winning now but need a draw atleast to stay close enough to Liverpool and not let them get too close to Chelsea.
     
    Not good enough.
    Our supposed big name players are in hiding.
    Very disappointing so far.
     
    Can't be mad, they've countered us well and we haven't taken the chances we have had. Could quite easily be 1-1 or 2-1 to us, with the Pogba/Mkhitaryan chances.
