Yeah, Bruno is definitely not an issue in this team, glad we've got to the bottom of that.

Hojlund performances are a bit bizarre on top of being bad. He’s trying to back into defenders like he’s Ashley Barnes.

He’s so preoccupied by the defender he’s constantly off balance

Bald head in Netherlands crying because he didn’t think to play Ugarte and Casemiro together a little deeper.

10 goals in 3.5 games under Ruud. How many games prior to this did it take us to tally up 10 goals?
We are certainly playing better. Don't know if it is because of Ruud or players suddenly wanted to up their game for the new manager. Either way, we are playing better.

That said, Ruud definitely has set up the team well.

    He's not been ass though
He's been incredibly sloppy, first touch is mixed, his body shape when recieving some passes has been off, i recall his blowing a basic one 1-2 with Amad at the centre of the pitch where is Leicester had been more switch on would have left them 1 on 1 with Onana. At least the hollywood balls have been cut out.

I've noticed this as well it's like he's more focused on fighting the defenders than the ball.

Maz has been a good signing. Finally (touch wood) one from Bayern

That's all it takes to finish top four in the PL. Be solid and have two or three attackers who can produce a moment of magic.

Ten Hag was an idiot when it came to his midfield set up, no sugar coating it, refused to adapt to the obvious.

Defending it about being compact and doing it as a group, not exposing the CB's constantly.

New strategy: fire and replace the manager every 5 games or so for a continuous bump. You’d be unbeatable.
    I like this strategy!

2 centre mids as a platform instead of whatever 4D chess Ten Hag was trying to play, and away we go.

It's literally that easy. Plus Bruno back to his original #10 position with two guys screening.
It really is. I think at some point ten Hag knew this but went into pigheaded self-sabotage in the way managers do; instead of the simple move to make it tighter. He’d honestly still probably be here if he did the simple thing of making the midfield actually control the middle of the field

Bar Zirkzee I think we had a very good summer transfer window. Mazraoui is amazing, Dr Ligt has brought leadership and stability, Ugarte is starting to look good (and Amorim knows him).

Who'd knew playing Bruno further upfront would make him play better again? Certainly not ETH

Anyone else notice we seem to have proper pressing going on when the players had no idea under Ten Hag? Forward line pressing and midfield pushing and full backs up then when they brake the initial forward line. That's one of things that fustrated me under Ten Hag, players had no idea when to press. I wouldn't be suprised if Ten Hag told the midfield or full backs not to press. I'm starting to see a style of play under Ruud already.
