Yes he needs to reach that standard consistently if he wants to be a top player. The truth is he is 20 years old and still searching for consistency in his game. His decision making will improve as he gains experience.

Its sad to say that people want to massacre him for a few bad games. Yes he haS made some bad decisions and can be frustrating at times but he is still learning. He has a good determination about him though where he will keep trying.

He is also over relied on due to the lack of quality alternatives at the moment.
I defend Garnacho regularly, I was defending him after the horror show he put in last week.

The club have seriously fecked up by having an inconsistent youngster with not a lot of end product be our best option at LW. He should be a bench option, he's currently overexposed

Yes he has been pretty much fast tracked but that was mainly down to the form of players like rashford and sancho. I do genuinely believe he will improve more under Amorim. There is little doubt about his talent.

Hojlund just looks miles off what we need from our main striker. Hopefully just second season struggles, he's young. He's got the ingredients to be a useful player, but its a tough job watching him at the moment.

He doesn't have the technical ability to make it. Bang average I am afraid. Maybe Amorim can teach him to time his runs.
Højlund needs crosses, and we play with inverted wingers who can't cross with their weaker foot. Most of what Højlund gets are balls played to feet with his back to goal, and he hasn't been able to turn a defender with any consistency. Maybe Amorim can convert him into a different style of striker, but he needs service and isn't getting it.

Probably the most comprehensive win we've had this season. Almost everyone played very well today...the exceptions being Rashford, Dalot, and Hojlund.

Rashford was the usual uninvolved nothing he's become more and more. Dalot was just bad today and RVN did a great job subbing him early before he started collecting cards. He desperately needs a long rest. I haven't looked to see if he was called into the Portugal team for this week but hopefully he gets some rest...and hopefully one of Malacia and/or Shaw are ready to go for Ipswich so that there's an option. If not them, I'm fine with going how we ended today...Maz, De Ligt, Evans, Martinez.

I don't disagree...but he's not winning these even when there is service. He's either overrun the cross or just not winning the battle. Maybe Amorim can find what's missing for him but he's just not getting into scoring positions when the opportunity is there.

He’s late and/or making the wrong run. You’d expect Ruud to be the cure for that.

Best performance of the season or was that the Southampton one? Thing is I missed both games so think I should stay away from watching us play

This one, by far. The Southampton one had long stretches of being out played. They should've been ahead early on the penalty. This one they controlled the game for nearly the entire 90 minutes. There were moments for Leicester...but few and far between.

Zirkzee is still missing as an Actual Substitute for the Lineup Prediction. I want my extra point @Niall ! :p

    Please?

Oops! A glitch in The Matrix.

Should be fixed now. Do you see the missing point?

It seems that Amorim has improved Gyokeres hugely. Hopefully he can do the same for Hojlund
