More discussions about a red button then the game itself :)

Let RvN win this one! I really hope he tries something else then 4231. Give us some all out attack and a 4-2 win!

Surely Wilcox will have him try a 3-4-3 in anticipation for Amorim? Pointless continuing with a failed formation anyway.

Don't see the point until Amorim is actually in place - there is nothing to definitely say he will start that way initially anyway.

Go 442 Ruud get the wingers and midfield providing chances all night and see how Hojlund gets on.

Wilcox doesn't have any say on the head coach's tactics, he's not directly coaching or managing any aspect of the first team. He's technical director, his expertise is in youth management/recruitment and setting up structures that make it as easy as possible for youth players to make the senior team/get sold for good money. People have misinterpreted the 'game model' idea as him telling a coach what they need to do, it's the other way around - a coach (ultimately chosen by Berrada, so with a tactical setup they like) will have a style and then Wilcox will implement that through the club.

I see where you're coming from, but i think it was widely reported that Wilcox is the one entrusted with setting up the long term vision/playing style etc.

I'm pretty sure he instructed ETH to start keeping possession more. There are reports this caused friction but there is definitely a plan from the sporting director and it is filtering down to the coach.

Surely it's better to introduce the system to the players they will be playing in a week or so?

Unless, of course, Amorim isn't as sure thing as many are reporting.

Apparently Leicester putting out a reserve side. We should be winning this comfortably if that’s the case.

Didn’t Ruud play 433 at PSV? Would be very surprised if it’s just a conventional 442, although it would be hilarious if we just went out and battered Leicester.

This is what I am really hoping for tonight - cut all the bollocks out and just go and show you are good players.

Sky Sports + (think it's just a fancy name for red button)
Just had a look and it’s not on sky or BT.
Annoying although the games they have picked presumably a couple of weeks back are probably more interesting for the average viewer

    Edit - whoops I’m an idiot !

All clubs should be forced to play 4-4-2 with the exception that you can play a flat 4-3-3 in Europe.

    What’s the team?
Based on the leaks from twitter, its Bruno and Zirkzee up top with Rashford on right and Garnacho on the left in a 4-4-2. As you can see, they don't reveal everything in a single go so they can drive up their engagement. Eriksen is injured and latest leak is that Lindelof is starting.

    My guess

Onana - Dalot Lindelof Martinez Mazraoui - Rashford Casemiro Ugarte Garnacho - Bruno Zirkzee

    That’s Ruud done for then.
