Yeah + we need as many players available as possible so we can rotate more vs West Ham in Fa Cup. It's mad schedule, we're about to play like 4 games in 4 different competitions in 10 days.

It’s frustrating because part of me is wanting us to go for it in every comp but the other part knows it’s suicide with our depth.

My opinion will be very unpopular but I do think we should rotate heavily in the FA cup. Rest Rashford for example. We're about to win the league cup and tbh for me the FA cup and the league cup are ...the same.

does anyone know of anywhere close to Dortmunds ground where the United game will be on?

It's the best opportunity to rotate heavily, I would agree. We were not gonna do it in the league Cup, being so close to the final. That decision has been vindicated by making it to the final. Europa League is lesser Europe, but still Europe, and gets you a CL place (which we should have anyway). Wouldnt mind seeing us rotate in the FA Cup if it gives us strength in other comps.

Full strength again today I'm afraid,it's the Hag way.Key players off at the hour mark if the job is done.We can rotate against West Ham if we've done the business against Barca & the cup final. And if we implode over the coming months due to lack of squad depth next season will be a new beginning anyway

Yup, agree. Rasford, Fred and bruno are the ones I worry about since they seem invaluable to the team right now. In the other areas, we seem to have okayish cover

Shaw is a worry for me. History with hamstrings. I think he needs a rest from time to time. Bruno plays every game with great energy either way.

Is Varane not available for this?

He is, but the feeling is that he is going to be rested for Barca and Newcastle.

Must win today. We could easily lose at Liverpool in a fortnight so let’s get this done. Strong team again for Barca and Newcastle and then rest all key players for WHU and then have a go at the scousers. We should have a few back over the next couple of weeks so things should ease soon. It’s a nice problem to have and next season we’ll be better prepared.

    We’ll most likely go.

    Ward

    Castagne Faes Souttar Kristiansen

    Mendy

    Tielemans Maddison

    Iheanacho

    Teté Barnes

Your take away will be that Ward is terrible.

Tielemans is slower than you though but has great vision / passing ability. Maybe a good option for a free come thsummer

    Souttar is Maguire Mk II

You’ll speak again why Maddison is a good option to add to your squad, with him having 15 months left on his contract now.

Tete and Kristiansen are both solid players and we’ll have found a few cheap gems again.

I'm interested to see if there's any reaction to recent events from the crowd today.

Considering the LUHG protests outside the ground every game, and the frequent “we want Glazers out” chants, I’m expecting it to be quite upbeat.

Does anyone else have a feeling that we either win here and lose against Barca or drop points here and go past Barca?

Ten Hag's first real test to change this feeling?
I have this feeling. It’s either today, Thursday or against Newcastle. I‘d never want to lose a final, so I would take a loss against Barcelona for a win today.

We have too many missing and their midfield could carve through our midfield like hot knife through butter. They are in form now and always turn up against us.

A very, very tough game, which could go either way.

Fingers crossed good Fred turns up today. Doubtful though as that version was at Camp Nou on thursday

The good thing is our manager does not think like some of you negative individuals.

The days of us worrying how our opponents are going to hurt us and adapting to that are long gone, we will put out a side that will hurt Leicester.

Bottom line, we play well and we win .. simple

I wouldn’t be too pessimistic, we’re very streaky and have looked like we’re hitting some form then fallen away all season.

The Twitter leaks crowd are dying lindelof and elanga start today. As a Swedish plumber I am most pleased.

    our squad depth sucks.

Weghorst in midfield? Bruno needs a rest; I know he won’t get one.

When is Martial expected back do we know?

Elanga starting is worrying to be honest. Unless he's starting up front would prefer Pellestri or Garnacho playing instead to switch things up.

Saw someone saying Larsson and Zlatan are amongst top 3 players they'd like us to sign earlier.

    Go, Sweden!

I reckon Elanga is playing up front then as wouldn’t make a lot of sense otherwise when Pellistri and Garnacho are ahead of him.

My heart can't take another game of us trying to build from the back w/o Casemiro. I hope we just boot the ball to Weghorst like we did against Barcelona.

I'm kind of dreading this game, to be honest.

Lindelof and Elanga would make sense. Maguire was sloppy in his passing against Leeds and Sancho could use rest.

Sancho could use a rest? - He needs games and more minutes to get up to speed, not a rest!
