Van Persie and Blind have impressed me the most so far, Di Maria has looked much better playing deeper too. Rooney has probably been our poorest player so far tbh.Well once again its been proven that if we go to four at the back, we look like a top class side.
I know we aren't as defensively solid as some of the other contenders but we really do have world class attacking players in all kinds of positions upfront. This match just reaffirms it.
If we can find a way to keep supplying them with chances we can pretty much beat anyone at OT. We can do better than that.Such a nice change. That was mostly entertaining... We still require improvement but it's so obvious that a formation like tis suits us so much more.
Blind is a beast.When was the last time Rooney played the ball forward?Very happy with the first half, the best we've played in a long time.
Falcao and van persie are doing great, di maria seems to be slowly returning to his best, blind is just magnificent.
Our defense is rock solid, pretty much had nothing to do so far.
The only negative was that adnan wasn't really involved at all, and rooney, while doing a decent job, looks completely wasted in midfield.

I didn't even bother to celebrate. But that was mainly due to an assumption of offsides.Nice to have little to moan about at half time. We are moving the ball much faster than in recent weeks, Di Maria is on the same wavelength as the front two, and Blind looks at home at the diamond's base. Even Valencia has looked dangerous. Hope Rooney's short passing improves in the second half.I really like Blind in this holding role. Very intelligent player with great technique.That feels a lot better. We're more balanced in favour of attacking which plays to the strength of our team. Apart from Rooney being a bit loose with the ball in midfield and a few stray back passes, we've bossed this. At least we pose an actual threat when we go forward. We're taking advantage of opportunities to stretch their defence and create space. The tempo of our game in the final third is creating chances. But we can still go up another gear you feel.

Still worry every time Jones gets the ball.Comfortable without being particularly great. Yep, i did on the 3rd goal as well if i'm being honest.Definitely a better performance. Not sure its quite as good as the scoreline suggest but I'll take it. Hope Falcao grabs a couple of goals in the second half to really boost his confidence.

ADM played that hard through ball that caromed off the Leicster defender and sent all of their defense scrambling for the airborne ball that Blind well, you know.
Either that or I need glasses and have to prep an apology.It just feels like everyone knows their role in this set up. Not a fan of the long balls though... Rooney needs to tighten it up, but whatever. Everyone is contributing positively.
