Schmeichel is out so Zieler will play for us
These early kickoff times can go do one. 6:30AM again for me...Nice kick off time for me. 8.30pm.
Mourinho simply has to drop Rooney and play someone competent behind Ibra. I want a Pogba-Herrera-Carrick/Schneiderlin midfield
Can we all not throw our toys out the pram when its announced Rooney starts please?
Early word is Rooney has been dropped by Mourinho #mufc
it's luckhurst, so probably BS.
If Rooney starts, I hope he plays well and even scores to stick two fingers back up at this mass lynching, but I hope we just win the game and get three points on the board.

Ffs if he is dropped, please please please can we have a performance from the team!
If he's dropped and we're average, the press will have a field day and deflect blame from him elsewhere.
Fecking gloryhuntersOff to the game today. About to leave now in a moment
I've seen more Leicester fans than Utd so far this morning
Even if Rooney does start then at least we can be content knowing that this game will be the final nail in the coffin.
Hoping for carrick, Herrera & pogba midfield but it's almost certain that one of Fellaini or Rooney will start.
Nope.
Why would a manager ruin the results of his own team, just so he can make supporters laugh at one of his own players?
Every manager, will put out a set of players that he believes will get the best result.
Moyes.
Hodgson
LVG
Allardyce.
Jose.
All think that Rooney is one of, if not the best player in the country.
His reward: Captain of club and country and the right to play in every game (first name on the team sheet), providing he is fit to play.
There are also those who say, "contract. contract. he is contractually obliged to play."
Oh right.
So what about Hodgson and Allardyce? Allardyce has gone so far as to say that Rooney shall play no matter what and he can play in any position he chooses.
If we had Messi available to play for England/MUFC, my guess would be that Rooney would start ahead of him.
And for those who think that nobody in their right mind would argue that Rooney is good, watch below:
We'll still struggle without Rooney. He's a huge issue in our side, but there are other, not as deep-seated issues within the squad. Not to mention Leicester still possess big threats; Mahrez seems to be hitting form again, Vardy and Slimani as a strike pair etc.
If, as expected, Jose Mourinho has dropped Wayne Rooney today it will be a big statement. It would have been easy to stick with him today.
Anthony Martial is missing and Henrikh Mkhitaryan cannot be fully fit after a couple of weeks out. If Mourinho wanted to avoid the issue, Mourinho could have started Rooney today and, if things weren’t going well, drag him off after an hour.
To drop him completely is a bigger call, especially on the back of the criticism the England captain has taken over the last week.

Here comes the rooney fan-base via MEN
Seriously? Give rooney MORE chances when we have rashford/mata/herrera/carrick/schneiderlin that are obviously better options? Come on.
Yea just like the Watford game was the final nail in the coffin, just like the Northampton game was. We can't be content about anything when it comes to Rooney. If he isn't dropped for this game then there's no reason to suggest he ever will be.
If he is to be dropped I wish it was a slightly easier game to do it. This game is no gimmie and if we don't win it people will say it's because Rooney didn't start.
