I'm a bit concerned about this line-up on paper given Leicester's pace and ability on the counter. Juan Mata will have a lot of running to do while I expect Ander to sit deep. Pogba will have to be very disciplined to prevent overloads. I would have preferred an extra midfielder with Rashford and Lingard on the wings.

Im a massive Herrera fan..... but i don't want to see him shoe horned into the team in a position that doesn't suit him and hurts the club...... Herrera isnt a defensive midfielder, he is even less of a defensive then Fellaini, it doesn't get the best of his talents asking him to protect the back 4,
football shouldn't be about trying to get your favourite 11 players on the pitch, it should be about putting out 11 players who complement each other and create a balanced team.
For me that isnt a midfield combination of two attack minded midfielders and hoping some how one of them will protect the back four.

The players I named are all controllers, especially Carrick, Alonso and Scholes, they read the game and almost always pick the right pass, they move the team around with their passing and help their team maintain attacking pressure with their incisive use of the ball, be it 10 yard or 30 yard passes. No one in this squad bar Carrick can do that and it will be a problem, especially with a weak midfield like today.
