    I'd say this is the season where you should demands trophies from Ole.
    You can judge him on the previous seasons and he's helped the club transform and close the gap to the top. Should've brought in a trophy, but gradual progress and rebuilding the squad was higher on the agenda list.
    Now that he's overseen a fair turnaround of players and being genuinely excited about the squad he's built expectations are trophies.

    Play our own game, we go into matches always trying to counter the opposition it’s insane. Assign one midfielder to the defensive role (Matic, McT or Fred) then the other role should be a creative player im sick to death of seeing McFred 2 bang average players doing the roll of 1 capable DM it’s fecking dog shit.

    VDB is probably not our answer for doing that. Not based on showings so far at least. We probably need to buy a player to be able to do that. Or we can use later fixtures to try that out. Like I said, maybe first few games of the season, we keep what worked for us, what's familiar to us. Especially if it is against a team like Leeds that can attack and will start the season with a lot of energy (remember their fixture with Liverpool last season?). We probably need to be safe and get the first fixture over the line with a victory albeit a cautious one. You know fans will lose their pebbles if United were to lose this first game and all doom and gloom will dawn upon everything around the club.
     
    Listen to that. I hope this season can be completed with fans. feck COVID.
