    Disappointed Matic isn't starting as I was expecting a big game from him. Would have started Sancho over Pogba also.
     
    Was hoping we had moved on from McFred & were ready to at least start the season with 4-3-3.
     
    A very familiar team that is. Bit surprised to not see Martial start considering the talk but it's a decent lineup. Hard to predict how it'll go since we don't know people's fitness levels. Hopefully Sancho gets on at some stage.
     
    Will be absolutely shocking if we don't sign a midfielder in the next couple of weeks. Another season of McFred, just unbelievable it really is.
     
    While it might work I am concerned that when it comes down to it Ole always opts for the "Safe" option in McFred.

    Personally I've seen it cost us plenty of games.
     
    Guessing Matic isn't starting as he'll be the back up CB if something goes wrong.

    Same but we Know McFred is not a good Midfield pair.

    Hopefully once Varane comes in it's a thing of the past!

    He's freshened up now and fit also, this is when he performs best. Should have started.
     
    Given how many players came back late I’m shocked by that line up but come on united! Glad football is back
     
    I think you have to play mcfred against Leeds. Anyone else and I'd question it as well.
     
    Line-up makes sense. We started the season with Matic in midfield last year and it didn't go that well. McT or VDB is not big of a difference even though some would have you believe Donny is world class. McT was brilliant in the same game last year. Only thing frustrating is James playing but he'll be out of the starting line-ups soon enough when more players get match fit.

    What options does he have? This post makes sense if we have a lot of options but having to move Pogba out wide leaves us with old man Matic or VDB who has been dog shit for us.
     
    Can see why we have gone with McFred for cohesion purposes and they're naturally fit so fitness wise they would struggle. Just don't think we have enough in attack to cause too many problems, think it'll need some Sancho magic later on.
     
    Poor lineup. Pogba on the left and James on the right is terrible. Should have put Martial up front and Greenwood on the right.
     
    People seem to forget we struggled and drew with them in the 2nd game last season, Leeds tightened up a lot as the season went on so James is a complete waste of space as they don't offer the opportunities on the counter they used to.
