This is not the game to play Pogba in midfield. When he's short of match fitness he can be a liability, and Leeds are the last team you want that against. I could live with him on the left wing I suppose. I also think Donny has earned a start, we could use his short, no-frills passing ability to move Leeds around.

I'm honestly more concerned about McTominay next to him. Wasn't he injured recently? Can he really be fully fit?
Can't really complain too much about the rest, we knew James would start and both Martial and Sancho are lacking match fitness. Disappointed if Donny isn't starting though, I think this is a good game for him. But Ole tends to revert to tried and tested when in doubt.
Only issue I see is it’s a bit defensive but we’ve got Donny and Sancho who will both come on for fresh legs in 2nd half. Don’t see one or both of McT or Matic pulling a full 90.

Big grain of salt needed folks.James was very effective vs Leeds at OT last season. His presence stopped his opposing full back from pushing up too often. His pace gives highline teams a problem.
Leeds have looked very rusty in pre-season from the highlights I've seen, so I'd be surprised if they're even close to what we'd expect of them today.

Amad going out on loan means James will 100% stay. I think it’s a massive error and if we sold now we could make a profit. I can only see his value decreasing year on year and then as usual we will be left with him as deadwood.
