    Fearing a tough start like last season. Hopefully with the fans and buzz around Sancho the players can be ready to match them and win.

    Yeah agree, however we really have to get after them, press them super hard like we did last season to match them, not sure Matic and Pogs together have enough of that about them.

    Although when fit those are usually my first choice pair in midfield against most teams.
     
    I’m really worried about this game. We’ve had very little pre season. We could get completely out run this game.

    I don’t think we can risk playing Matic. He doesn’t have the legs to get around at the best of times never mind against Leeds.
     
    If there's one unforeseen good that's come of this hideous pandemic is that the tourists are far fewer in number. This will be a stadium full of proper fans who know the chants and know what it means to face Leeds.

    Agree. We have to match them physically.

    I think it will be McFred midfield if they are both fit. Perhaps Pogba off the left who can drop in and help as well.

    Yeah, I think it'll be a tough game. McTominay and Fred are unpopular figures on here but they might be necessary evils in this game.

    I'm not even sure if McTominay is fit, but Pogba's ponderous style and Matic's legs could be a problem against a fit Leeds side that won't give us time on the ball in midfield.

    Not sure it will mean it will be full of proper fans. More likely full of rich people.

    If we went into the game with Matic and Pogba as our 2 holding players, I honestly think we’ll get raped. Especially as Varane isn’t playing and it’s still Lindelof.

    Edit: it's been brought to my attention Cavani won't be playing, so is unlikely to score today I stand by my overall optimisim and excitement foe today and humiliating Leeds again - this time in front of some of their cuntbag fans)

    Difficult team to predict - One of Mctominay and Fred will definitely start. Has VDB done enough for it to be only one of them? There’s little chance Pogba and sancho both start wide - he’ll want James’ legs - it’ll be Pogba with Sancho coming on - and I’d be astonished if Martial or Matic start. My personal choice would be to play a 4-3-3 with Mctominay, Pogba and Donny, Bruno in the false nine position flanked by Sancho and Greenwood. However, I think the team will be below:

    It’s definitely going to be McFred today, you’re kidding yourself if you think otherwise. We’re playing against the most industrious side in the league who will be near full fitness. Of course we are going to play our two naturally fittest and industrious centre midfielders.

    Hope you're right, but if there were ever a bunch of game-raising cnuts, it's Leeds.

    I was thinking McFred for that exact reason, to be fair, but was too afraid I'd get shouted it at :nervous:
     
    Remember we used to have line up leaks last season? How long did that last? Did Ole strangle the mole in his sleep?

    But McTominay has a niggle.. I'm thinking Matic and VDB because they played with the A lineup vs Everton.

    Surely if Fred was intended to start he'd have been on the pitch with our starting defence and the like?
