He probably does need the games, so I was half expecting him to play.
Maguire on the other hand, that's poor IMO. I could understand it if we put out a super weak team (ie. the actual kids) and we wanted him at the back for leadership and a calm head, but the rest of the team are all proper first teamers who can easily handle this without him. Have him on the bench for sure just in case Bailly has one of his terrible days and Mengi struggles. Or TFM play in the centre and Laird out wide. Actually, just realised neither Mengi or Laird even made the bench. That's super disappointing.Guys, if asked before apologies but is this on TV?
He might not need the rest, just the sharpness and it might be an easy game to get him there. But would rather he didn't play the 90. I would Ole isn't doing a LVG and always playing him because he is the captain.

They wanted all the kids to play so they could moan all game because they are inexperienced, playing with a bunch of players who have barely played and are rusty. If we score I could see kids coming on. He has rested lots of the first choice team and for all people want to see the kids, this team is made up of players who are supposedly the backups or are in the shop window.
