Bloody hell, this is why United needs Bruno. A brilliant versatile player who gives his all, ready to play in any position required. Absolute great footballer and deserving of the captaincy at United.

The best thing is now, we have now leaders like De Ligt as well. Great to see and is a very good team on paper. Just need to win without raising more doubts.

The Fulham midfield looks so light on paper. We might just be romping home tonight.

It will be interesting to see who puts in the better performance between Mount and Pereira.

Has any mention been made by the media re Sancho not being in squad? As others have said, hopefully it means he’s on his way out.

Bruno is wrong. I still get goosebumps when I watch that goal against Liverpool, the technique on it is superb.

Don’t get why Neville going on about we can’t play high line with De Ligt… I thought he was pretty quick? Also we’ve signed Yoro for more pace and athleticism at CB or have they forgot about him.

If Unless lose or play badly (fecking hope not), I am guessing the United PR team will be ready with the news of Sancho, Mctominay being sold and Ugarte signing for United within an hour of the result to calm the fans.

Just watching Fulham Manager Marco Silva's interview in the away dressing room.

That's exactly how the away dressing room should be, bare bones and simple.

I love how shite the away dressing room is at Old Trafford hahah. Proper shithousery there.

Nothing been said on Sky. Thought the pundits would have asked ETH why he wasn’t in the squad especially given their relationship with each other over the past year.

Have not missed listening to Keane and Neville's endless bullshit.

Cant believe we spent a whole decade with a CEO who actually listened to and rated the opinions of Neville, Rio and co.

Not too surprised by the lack of. New signings. Zirkzee and De Ligt haven't played any minutes whereas Mazourai has played some games. Plus we've a greater need at full back right now.

Interesting we've kept with the same formation as the end of last season. Let's hope we don't look as open as the opening game last year, and we can actually create a few chances.

Neville thought we'd go for a quicker centre back to player a higher line.

I think it's the right decision to start with Garnacho as the first player off the bench basically.

He played a lot of football last season (too much IMO), in part, out of necessity, and went to the Copa America as well. If you look at his competition, Amad is 22 and hasn't played nearly enough first team football at this point, and Rashford at 26 should have no problem playing 50+ games per season at this stage of his career + we badly need him to return to his former self. If Garnacho is doing well and someone else is underperforming, he'll play himself back into the lineup in no time anyways.

Martinez played way more at the Copa and after coming back from a lengthy injury. If there is anyone we should be cautious managing their play time, it should be Martinez imo.

Garnacho looked sharp in the Community Shield. He could at least play 60 minutes.

Like fcuk, it should have spiked pits, bear traps and hot water that shoots out from the ceiling

just done a Mazraoui analysis for anyone interested...

Martínez is 26. Garnacho had almost 100 appearances for the club before turning 20. Not overplaying him so early in his career could be very good for him in the long-term. Same with Mainoo.

Pretty funny how we're come full circle to playing Rangnick's formation.

At least we can have players that can be arsed running now!

Yeah mate, was thinking about this since the Community Shield game. Suits our squad.

As expected, the shield lineup with Mazraoui over Evans. Good team, can only get better with players coming back and gaining fitness. We should be able to overwhelm Fulham with basically 4 midfielders out there, but football doesn't always go according to plan. Just hoping for a comfortable win without any injuries.
