    The old nervous feeling has just come on again... against flipping Fulham at home. We need to get our high standards back ASAP.

    Mount isn't a straight swap for Garnacho. Clearly Garnacho is LW / RW and Mount is #10. Garnacho got dropped in favor of Rashford and Amad on the wings. He hasn't really had a pre-season so he'll be introduced slowly, my bet is around 60 mins in.

    No idea what's going on with Sancho but couldn't care less. Garbage player. We have enough depth on both flanks and if we want a false-9 we'll get Zirkzee on.

    Bit worried about the Fulham counters honestly. I didn't realize Adama was playing for them. ESR, Iwobi, Adama, Muniz is a good attack. Not to mention Pereira. They're a good side.

    I don't know who this Lukic guy is but the fact that Palinha isn't around makes me think we'll control the middle of the park.

    Seriously!!! Jittery here and hope we start good. God fed up of being a meme-worthy team last season, even though we were behind chelsea for it
     
    I expected De Ligt to start 10/11 prediction. It's key to start winning and convincing, I'm convinced the first game shapes the season. If we lose or even win but not playing good football we'll struggle we need to keep the hype until the players believe they're good enough.

    Lets start strong 2-0 come on!

    In fairness, do you expect absolutely everyone to be optimistic about this fixture and season as a whole given how last season panned out? Some pessimism is expected until this manager proves otherwise.

    Agreed. Weird why they didn’t. Hopefully it’s because he’s on his way rather than he’s fallen out with Ten Hag because he was late to getting on the coach.

    Has anyone checked to see if he’s online on PlayStation Network?
     
    Starting lineup is weaker than the one we were playing late last season with Rashford back in the squad.

    I really want to think we'll do well but I have very little faith in Ten Hag at all. I have a feeling we'll be relying on the new signings and Garnacho in the second half to try to get back into the game.
     
    This game will affect our transfers so it's very important. Finally here we gooo!

    Think we'll win well and have a higher standard this season, at least top 4
     
    Stadium looked quite empty considering 10 mins till kick of.
     
    Sky showing our four signings being introduced to the crowd pre-match. First thing that really strikes me is how big they all are. Don’t think that will be by chance either, 4 tall, athletic players all accomplished on the ball. It’s a good profile to target.
     
    I can’t believe I’m paying $75/month to watch United, and still it’s only just commercials outside of the match.

    No wonder people turn to illegal options.
