Come on Antony! Redemption arc begins here!
I think it was a natural choice really in this systemAntony at RWB - I called it.
There's still 4 in the squad and we know Amorim likes bringing players through so you'd imagine there will be more and more as time goes on.Not many home grown players in the squad, will we see that long record end at all this season?
100%feck me Savage is a nause.
Huh?That midfield is suicide
last chance saloonCome on Antony! Redemption arc begins here!
Probably BrunoDoes anyone know whether it will be Mount or Bruno playing at CM?
Personally, I don't think the role suits either player but I would prefer Bruno to be playing there.
It's a shame there is no Amad, as I would have liked to see him start over Garnacho.
As a Dad who experienced the same emotions almost 30 years ago (Daughter in Optometry), I’m delighted for you.Just got inducted into medical practice today and also got my license today, after close to a decade of working hard to be a doctor. So happy right now. My Dad broke down in tears of joy after the ceremony.
Hopefully the day is made perfect with a United win.
One of the charms of cup football.6500 away fans, wow!
He has. He was being used immediately in training by Amorim on his first day. He's not ready yet but he has taken part in team training.Zero chance of Yoro been there seeing as he hasn’t trained with the team
Amorim's said he's not ready yet along with Maguire. Even though both are training.Happy enough with that line up. The right amount of (long term) returnees starting - just Mount and Malacia. And hopefully Shaw and Mainoo getting minutes off the bench.
A good few had most starting, plus Yoro. The latter, especially, was never likely to start having not even made the matchday squad v Ipswich. I was hoping he'd be ready for the matchday squad today, but obviously it's too soon even for that.
This. Martinez and Mazraoui will bring the ball forward and Ugarte will be dropping deeper to form a 2 with de ligt bases on the last game. So Bruno will have plenty of defensive protection if we lose the ball. Plus his work rate alongside Ugarte will be vital for us regaining possessionAs per Carragher's analysis, stop worrying about Bruno looking vulnerable in midfield. The point is for Bruno to press up higher and for one of the three CB's to press into midfield.
If they press right from front to back it won't matter that it's Bruno in there
There are quite a lot of reasons to worry about Bruno in midfield to be fair I just doubt it will be an issue against bodo. He works hard but not sure he is that good at pressing, he isn't good at tracking runners and struggles to keep the ball in tight spacesAs per Carragher's analysis, stop worrying about Bruno looking vulnerable in midfield. The point is for Bruno to press up higher and for one of the three CB's to press into midfield.

Is that the arc where he plays well first half and get injured till the end of the season?Come on Antony! Redemption arc begins here!
In a 4-2-3-1 yes. Not in this system. They are never isolated cause the #10s drop in slightly narrower when we defend. That midfield is suicide
Bruno had played the role a lot more. Mount was usually played wide left weren't he when he wasn't playing CAM?Does anyone know whether it will be Mount or Bruno playing at CM?

Shouldn't matter what religion they are.Have to say I’m not hating that. A left footer at left back is long overdue.
Who was he talking about?A bit concerned about these training comments
He just said one training session since Sunday. I presume this a translation issue?
Bodo/Glimt sound like a bounty hunter from Star Wars.I feel it’s unfair we have to face two teams tbh
