Yeah I'm actually pretty happy with that midfield and that team in general. Be interesting to see how these new players do in this system.

Nice to see Malacia back at last.As per Carragher's analysis, stop worrying about Bruno looking vulnerable in midfield. The point is for Bruno to press up higher and for one of the three CB's to press into midfield.
If they press right from front to back it won't matter that it's Bruno in there

The back three all of whom I like. It's interesting to see Antony at RWB, I'm glad to see Malacia back playing football. Curious to see how Bruno fares in a midfield two and whether he'll be wasteful or useful. Hope Mount kicks on, there's a player there but his fitness issues are terrible. And like I said, hope Garnacho takes to this unusual position.
First home game for Amorim. I don't know. The last 11 years have been mostly really shite, but Amorim has got me believing we've got the right man. We're still quite a few players off from the right squad, but it's a start.feck me Savage is a nause.I like it! That’s the thing that jumped out. After the first game, looks like he’s saying to his players that I’ll accept some lack of quality but without workrate - there is no space for you in the line up.
Some of this could also have to do with his comments post match on 2 training groups to have players understand the system better.Happy that Malacia has finally made it back.
Expected Shaw to start to build up his minutes. A lot of interesting performances tonight. Malacia, Antony, Mount, Bruno in a deeper position, and Garnacho starting at 10 again when it's fair to say he he underwhelmed there the other day.
And on the ball....Do we know the subs yet?If Bruno thrives and takes responsibility, that position will be his. Love to see Mount again! This time the defenders are a bit quicker then last time. Will be really fun to see this!- Status
