If I had to say one particular thing was wrong, it's the lack of a midfield screener. But it's not like anyone is doing anything great to compensate.

We need to be more patient and stop hitting long balls every 2 minutes.

I get that they’re pressing high but we need to suck them into getting caught, it’s too obvious if you do it over and over.

bruno needs to drop deeper to help the build up - it’s clearly tactical to stay up high but it just doesn’t suit the way European football is played especially in this heat.

once we started knocking it around and retaining the ball we are much better. Need to get greenwood on the ball, such a danger.

I've started listing the excuses already:

    Players were tired
    We need a right winger
Copenhagen surprised us with how well they played
We just didn't click for some reason; its unusual for us!
We just didn't have the luck in the final third!

I will leave the elephant in the room that is piss poor coaching to one side!

    We'll win this game 2-0.

    You'll see ;)

Someone needs to put Rashford firmly down back on the ground, full of him self.
Besides few moments he's been shite since he put a food on the table for kids. Now thinks he is untouchable.
How do you know that he’s full of himself and thinks he’s untouchable?

Pogba has been shite too, must be said.Hiding.
Not being helped by the way we're asked to play. He's supposed to assume a sole midfield role when we're trying to build because Ole has Bruno way up and Fred dropping to form a back 3. Pogba is left marked by at least 2 players therefore he isn't even an option for a pass most of the time.

can't understand if people slagging off Pogba for that half actually watched the game or not. I'm leaning towards no.

    -Ole gains weight
-Left flank as a main attacking threat is not working
-Rashford as a winger is a joke
-The fullbacks without attacking abilities kill the way we play even more. Get the ball, pass it back, who couldn't do that?
    - Again, the set up with Fred stay deep when we in possession requires the fullbacks have to be effective to create something or willing to try to do so.
    - We are not a high pressing team, if we are not improving it as a team, it's suicide as even Copenhagen easily beat it quite comfortably.
    - Players have to attack the penalty box more. What the point of try to get the ball in from the left and no one in the box?

Absolutely hate the way Ole has Pogba assume a sole midfield role when we're trying to build from the back. He has Fred drop to form a back 3 then Pogba is left as the only outlet in midield because Bruno is way up close to Martial. It simply doesn't work and we can't build from the back.

This system tries to have fullbacks as our outlets for building from the back but it's quite random given our personal.

    It's bonkers

Someone said Copehagen would make top 10 in EPL. Looks like its true.

2 midtable clubs playing - just a dire game.

Fred has not been bad like what some are saying on here. The problem is whenever he gets the ball there’s no passing option because Pogba is just hiding behind the opposition players - literally just strolling around instead of making himself available.

We have to start working harder than the opposition. Two or three of our players are reactive and not proactive. Rashford especially. Maybe the heat is difficult but Rashford has been poor of recent.

Bit harsh . Blokes just done a great humanitarian deed and some people are acting like he’s been promoting his own clothing brand on Instagram.

He’s been poor since lockdown. I suspect he’s probably not fully fit still, but we needed him and he’s stepped to play. The only other option is James, merely proving why we need to buy Sancho.

I;d take a Fullback and a CM over one individual, which I think could be covered with 120M.

Fair enough. I think Sancho is one of those players you must get when they're available. Also, I don't understand why people seem to believe that if we were to get him, we wouldn't move for other players

Why are the CBS pundits talking about the temperature in Copenhagen as if we’re playing there? They not realize this match is being played in Germany?
CBS has been dreadful. I am going to give them a pass (for now) since they are doing us a favor by picking up the EL ad CL at the last minute after TNT/TBS bailed in June.

He's played 2 or 3 nice passes but he's not bossing this game at all.
2 or 3 nice passes, while also combining well with the forwards in little exchanges and has been the most calming influence in the side (along with Mason). Also had a good block to stop the goal.

when he's not on it, it's like playing with 10 men for most of the game. thankfully he seems to come up with a bit of magic to rescue things though.
On Bruno. He has to have movement in front him to pick the pass. Often there is just not that movement. Martial has improved but his effort without the ball still leaves a lot to be desired. Still we have a second half. Let's hope Ole actually kicks some ass instead of seemingly letting the players go on their merry way.

Are we going to be listening to the players are tired until next May?

Rashford should pray Ed Woodward does not sign Grealish or Sancho. Take away his.pace, his decision making is shocking

Yep I’ve moaned about this also. It doesn’t suit our strengths at all, basically bypassing the midfield and hoping for a long ball.

Don’t mean to overreact, but if we go out to these tonight I’d sack Ole tomorrow. Clearly we won’t be going any further with him, new signings or otherwise.

Pogba has been really good in this game. Come on here and the same posters always on his case.

ALthough I wouldnt say he has been really good, has been our best midfielder overall comfortably. The pleasing thing for me with him tonight as so far we havent seen any of the sloppyness in his game in our own half. Sadly Fred, who was playing well beforehand did the sloppyness for him a couple of times though.

One player who I rate very highly been poor for 3/4 games now is Bissaka, he just doesnt seem switched on defensively for me at the moment, regardless of the attackign part of his game

We look absolutely shocking. Ole needs to get his ass out of that stool and yell a little like Solbakken is doing..
