Dont know whats going on with Rashford. Last few games he seems to do good links up with these little 5yd passes in teh corners......and little else. He looks lethargic and not running at the full back, on a different wavelength to those around him. If the season started now with Sancho in the side, Id put Sancho on the left and drop Rashford for Greenwood on the left. What a superb finish from him yet again.

All in all a sloppy and lazy first half but the last 15mins give me confidence we will get the result, but these poor performances of the last 4/5 games need to end after this one if we are going to win this tournament

I agree with this on the whole and especially with the bold part. Both of those opportunities definitely seemed like moments where Lindelof would either not be strong or athletic enough to get across and block the chance.

The problem I'm seeing with Rashford is he's not being direct enough. I think the first few performances of his after the lockdown where he played great passes is something he's trying to replicate rather than playing his natural game.

I just can’t wrap my head around on why the heck Rashford has all of the sudden stopped taking the fullbacks on. I get that he needed to become more reserved and picky in his moments but this is ridiculous.

I don't like our midfield shape.

So many times during the 1st half where Pogba was surrounded by loads of players and Bruno was playing as a striker. We're playing with 1 midfielder since Fred slots in the back to form a back 3.

I hate it. Teams have sussed us out.

Pogba getting a lot of flack but I thought of the 3 midfielders he's looked the best thus far. His control and passing have been pretty good and he seems to be the only one controlling things in the middle.

Disappointing half from us. We didn't get going at all for ages. Our passing was so far off. But in our own half where we kept nearly playing way into trouble, and in and around the box where we haven't used the ball well at all. Thought we got better after the water break, but it was a low bar. Continued to improve as we came up to the end of the half. Shame about the offside, the goal would have been ideal at that time and a sign we had properly grown into the Game. Great finish for that goal all the same.

Copenhagen surprised us with how well they played
We just didn't click for some reason; its unusual for us!
We just didn't have the luck in the final third!

I will leave the elephant in the room that is piss poor coaching to one side!

at least this evening, it seems Copenhagen always have a centre back pushed out quite wide to cover behind the full back.

Absolutely hate the way Ole has Pogba assume a sole midfield role when we're trying to build from the back. He has Fred drop to form a back 3 then Pogba is left as the only outlet in midield because Bruno is way up close to Martial. It simply doesn't work and we can't build from the back.

This system tries to have fullbacks as our outlets for building from the back but it's quite random given our personal.
