It's not defense's fault Fred & McTom can't create a barrier.It makes sense to play Martial on the left, he's more direct than Sancho (at least so far).Much, much better tempo from us. Fred and McSauce clearly told to take one touch and move it forward.

He is insane on the ball to be honest. His game play will be so complete in few years and he will be a world beater. He is so rafined with the ball, it’s amazing really.
You can say Mbappé is faster, Haland is much more stronger and imposing but Greenwood is pure talent. With a better fullback on the ball linking with him it could be something !

We have to cut out that sloppy period though, Everton created probably 5 solid chances that we blocked most of them so it was fine in the end, but still. Shaws been a bit lazy getting back if he gets passed. Cavani has worked hard but hasn't really come off for him today. Wan Bissaka and Greenwood very good.

Martial has been a lot more involved, even in spite of the goal, and Greenwood has been brilliant.

I'm no fan of Fred but he's a better defensive player than VDB. That's what Ole wants in that position.

Prior to that Everton as expected with a low block and difficult to break down and creating more chances from their 32% possession, Lindelof in fairness to him with some good blocks. Degea with just 1 save to make compared to 5 1st half v Villarreal midweek.The goal is actually a good finish. Great business.
Didn't watch the half but considering Everton's absent players, the game should be really easy anyway. Just score a second and secure the win.

He was very good when he started but sometimes he lose the ball too easily, it’s frustrating. He tries too hard.Not much love for Bruno Fernandes? He's been very good too. Yeah he did hit some hopeful passes here and then but who else would even attempt those passes anyway in this team? Massively involved in the goal. He served it on a platter for Martial to hit.We always come out better second half and still have gamechanging subs to come on. We got this. Going in a goal up is a massive boost.Greenwood is insane. Imagine if he wasn't against 2-3 players constantly but 1on1.Should have been 3 up- Status
