  The reason why he gets preferential treatment from the glazers os because he will keep thibgs together enough to qualify for top 4 whilst not rocking the boat. He knows he is lucky to be in the job so wont rock the boat
  
  He also gets preferential treatment from fans amd the media because he is a likeable guy and a man utd legend. Unfortunately none of this makes him a good manager
