Yup that's been the best link up play between a united RB and RW for years. But I'm not going to get too excited. Everton have sat back a lot. AWB struggles when he's under pressure, like the slip when he was in plenty of space to cross to two attackers
Honestly? I think prior to the goal his link play, especially with Shaw has been promosing. Hasn't been easy because we have struggled to get our wingers in 1v1 positions but I feel he's been very neat and took his goal well.VDB must really be piss poor in training for Fred to still hold the reigns.Bruno is just so special. He's everywhere and add that touch of class. Varane and Lindelof were pretty good too.
The less say about McFred is the better.

Closer than expected, but mainly because Everton have done well, rather than a reflection on us. Thought we've been okay in defence and up front, but midfield they've been strong and we've been second best. Very happy Rondon is playing instead of their usual strikers. I can see this ending 2-0 to us.
That's what you get when you have players with a season or two under their belt playing together.

Hope not, as that means we'll have conceded.I think we have played really well overall, that first 15 minutes in particular we were moving the ball brilliantly. Greenwood by far the best player on the pitch that half, anyone calling for him to be dropped before the game should hand their head in shame, the lad is our best player. AWB was good, great save from De Gea but overall I think every player did their job that half. Everton obviously had chances because they are a decent team but I think with abit more final quality we can put these to the sword.

People go to Specsavers and ask for an eye test. Then rewatch Dalot at RB and realise AWB is a godAWB and Fred having a good game. The rest midweek has done them good.

A great assist. You can have more than one opinion at a given time, you know?That's a really, really big improvement performance-wise, compared to our last few games. Our attacking game had back everything we've been missing - rhytm, flow, structure. Suddenly it looks like the players are finding each other easily, effortlessly again. Still a little bit less end product that you'd wish for, but Everton's also got something to say about that. That's a pretty good team we're facing - fast and dangerous on the break, very well organised, shuts down the middle defensively very well and is in control inside their own box. So are we, on that last point.

He does almost everything right which is a great compliment for a 20 year old. He really is showing how he can do fullbacks now too.
Can easily kick on and be the main man.Helps that Everton have zero threat. This game could be a lot tighter with DCL and Richarlison playing.

He is twice the player on the left tbf. Never a striker.If we come out and don’t sit back now we’re ahead, we’re just too good for these. Benitez is such a bore of a tactician - keep the pressure on and there’s more goals if we cut out the bad passing in the middle. Defensively I’m still a bit heart in mouth whenever teams run at us, DDG been great again. AWB and Greenwood excellent.We have played well today. The midfield is working good, AWB has been amazing, Varane made a key block, DDG and Mason playing well. Good to see Martial get a goal, can only be a good thing. Maybe too early to say, but our attack looks more fluid with Cavani up top.
