Don't know why some of you are complaining about martial. At the end of the day if Ole can get a top form martial that's a player who is as good as anyone in our squad.

Amazed Sancho isn't playing. I appreciate that Martial needs game time but so does Sancho, and Sancho is the long term £70m blockbuster summer purchase. So odd to prioritise Martial. Still, hopefully Martial gets back into his groove.

Shame VDB isn't playing, but that's less of a surprise. Pretty obvious he has no future at United.

Cavani makes sense. He needs game time. Shame to leave out Ronaldo, but it needs to happen occasionally.

    Feel genuinly sorry for Donny.

McTominay has been injured for some time and quickly upon his return he gets two starts in two games close to eachothers while others are rotated.

he got 3 consecutive starts if you include today's game

Squad rotation or is he benching players who is starting to turn on him ?

Squad rotation just before an international doesn’t make sense. Unless the players see absolutely knackered.

Maybe it is a power play move by Solskjaer?

Happy with the team selection, a case of just win the game though.

That last minute winner was so satisfying and I'm hoping it's woken us up in a general sense.

    Let's get at them, 3-0

You guys are so negative, jeez. He's actually using the squad a bit more, which is probably wise. I don't agree with Martial over Lingard either, but at least he probably has some indication he want's to prove himself. We even got Cavani. And Ole shows it's not "impossible" to bench Ronaldo, which I also think is a good sign

Martial thing is mad, but he is a massive asset if he can play his way into form. People act like that is impossible for some reason. He is also on a big wage and needs to play if we are to find another club for him.

If rashford was fit or sancho in any form he prob doesn't play, but I guess no harm when sancho has been so poor.

Pogba on the bench is whatever, this team are going to park the bus an absolutely unbelievable amount and without maguire we are going to really lack composure on the ball in deep areas. Pogba looked bad in midweek in cm but this game might be quite different again

I had Cavani to start, no Ronny, most I think can agree with that after Wednesday night tough game. Shaw back massive plus. Lingard can feel a bit pissed he's not starting, but I think he will come on. All for rotation need a display again at the 3rd 12.30 ko in a row? Not many clubs have to do that let's see. 2 nil

He won’t though, & by ‘come good again’ I mean for a game or two which will convince some on here. They’ve been living off that night in Paris for too long.
Okay, i understand better. I just can't believe we are still playing these two guys.

Using the squad fair enough, except for the one area of the pitch people want him to rotate. Ole wumming everyone.

all true. we need some variety across the front line. it is a worrying line up in some ways, but ole watches the players that we can't watch more than a few minutes of a month, hopefully he sees something that we aren't

Who’d have predicted outrage on the Caf for Martial starting ahead of lingard 12 months ago…such a fickle game.
Or you could call it a game of merit.

Just looked at the Everton, we should win surely?

    Knowing us though:

    Everton will lead 1-0
    Ole makes subs after 75mins
    We nick a draw

But this team doesn't strike me with this confidence at all, that Everton team does.

    Lets go! wooo ...

Not sure why everyone is complaining. We all said last season that Ole needs to trust his squad more and rotate more and now he does and suddenly people are pissed off.
This. The team should be good enough to dispatch an injury-hit Everton.

Ronaldo and Sancho benched, still no PL start for VDB and martial starts as well. Got everton win written all over it.

I really want Ole gone now.

Great to see Shaw back as well. I know Telles scored than banger in the week, but he's way behind Luke Shaw. Feel more secure with him in the team

Apart from CM we have some amazing options now, surprised Greenwood is starting, think he needs a game on the bench, been getting to greedy the last few matches, I hope he gets back to being more of a team player cause he has it in him to both score and assist.

How does Donny not get a game today, if Fred and Scotty get over run again they’ll not have much to fall back on this time.

Hopefully Ole will rest Bruno at times as well, he needs it.

Ronaldo is only 22 appearances away from breaking the all time appearance record for an outfield player. Barring injuriy, he's going to be number 1 by the end of the season.

Chill out. He was always going to need a rest.

    Martial :(

Hoping Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin don't bully us too much!

    Martial start is a surprise.

Helps that Everton are missing a few players too and he's got a decent record vs them. Maybe he'll finally play himself into a bit of form? Here's hoping.

I predict this team will surprise everyone and we’ll win 3-0

I will not be surprised. The meltdowns are getting ridiculous.

Ronaldo as sub makes sense, Pogba's not played well in a while and I understand Martial might be baffling but maybe he's looking sharp in training. He's in last chance saloon and won't get many chances up front this year so we'll see how he does off the left.

First sub guaranteed to be Ronaldo for an ineffective Martial at the circa ‘56 mark (or ‘78ish, I like Ole but he definitely takes far too long to make changes sometimes).

That Everton lineup is so horrendously bad, there isn't any way we should be losing this game.

Martial would do himself a huge favour by applying himself today. Even the sight of him is annoying lately.

All those definitely-not-ABU journalists fears about Greenwood’s game time after signing Ronny are coming true…

    … oh.

Eh you can make the same arguments for the players he is playing.

Fred and McTominay have been no use either. Fred especially has been bad while McTominay has been anonymous!

Also I think the point in rotating so much is valid. We lost our last league game. With Liverpool playing City we have a good chance of being top of the league.

Putting out this weekend lineup is jepordising that.

Lose or draw and it's absolutely idiotic.
Win and it's genius. There is no in between.
