Is Coleman going to be fit in time for the game? I would much prefer Di Maria going at Hibbert, should have some success there. We could also shuffle across more to the right side of the pitch to deny Baines any space.

Apart from that if we can stop Lukaku having space to run at our defence 1 on 1, we should be OK.

United vs Everton at Old Trafford and not televised in the UK.

    BT Sports on Sunday dinnertime.

Oh, I just figured BT Sport only did Saturday PL games. I hope I'll have my BT Sport back by then. I'm in the process of shifting internet/phone from BT to Sky and will need to reactivate it once Sky line is active.

McNair,Thorpe,Vermijl,Janko and Wilson all in first team training today.Carrick and Fellani are there as well.

Reeeeally seriously thinking about making Naismith my captain in FF. I reckon you'll win 5- 3 with Naismith involved in at least two goals.

I didn't notice Jones or Smalling in the Getty Images pics. Looks like McNair will start again, assuming the one right-footed central defender, one left-footed is LVG's preference.

Where do you find those? Do you have a link?

    Thanks!!

So with Wilson training with the first team, I assume he didn't pick up an injury at half time in the u21's. Could we see his get minutes against Everton?

Well, what with Rooney being suspended if Falcao or RvP gets injured then Wilson would be the logical sub, him or Januzaj, although Januzaj could possibly be playing elsewhere in the side.

Can't wait to see what Wilson can do but won't be easy getting into the team. The league cup would probably have been best but... man, I really wish I hadn't reminded myself of the league cup.

Anyone going to watch the Everton game, hoping for a strong Everton line up.

24 players training today: De Gea,Lindegaard,Amos,Rafael,Janko,Vermijl,McNair,Thorpe,Rojo,Blackett,Shaw,Blind,Carrick,Fellani,Fletcher,Valencia,Di Maria,A.Pereira,Januzaj,Mata,RVP,Rooney,Falcao,Wilson.18 players should be picked from that pool if there's no surprised inclusion.

So too early for Jones to make it against Everton I assume.

Everton squad for today's match (less than an hour away):

Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Stones, Jagielka, Gibson, Barry, Atsu, McGeady, Osman, Eto'o.
Everton subs: Robles, Oviedo, Browning, Alcaraz, Besic, Lukaku, Naismith.

Anyone else think LVG might go back to 5-3-2 for this? With Rooney and Hererra out I think he might want 5 at the back to make us more solid something like this maybe

    Mcnair Rojo Blackett

I doubt LvG will keep Falcao and RVP on for the full 90 minutes even in spite of injury so I can see Wilson coming on for Falcao. Januzaj should play behind the striker and start imo but that's very unrealistic.

That's a far stronger team than I would have expected them to use tonight. I wasn't feeling confident about this game but surely we will take advantage of this. The likes of Barry, Baines and Jagielka will struggle badly to play 2 games within 3 days at an acceptable level with a long flight in between. It certainly makes me glad that we didn't qualify for the Europa League.

They usually do, but this one was rescheduled for Sunday as Everton are in the Europa League. They don't just lose the game from their selected pack because the date of the game had to be changed - Sky had to push their Super Sunday back to 14:05pm instead.

I can see this being yet another topsy-turvy game. We'll go 3-0 up in the First half Hour and be clinging on 3-2 in the dying minutes, possibly down to Ten men. Great entertainment all the same!.

Expecting us to line up something like this Sunday.

Since the start of the season, we've been rubbish with three at the back, though. Since we've changed to 442 diamond however, although we haven't been that convincing defensively (who would when you have a different back four ever game) we've scored every game and have looked a massive threat going forward. Surely Van Gaal can see this.

    Doubt it - Blackett suspended.

    lol, no.

Well at least I hope not...... This formation can be just as defensive if not better.
