Me too. Usually I'd avidly watch every game but now I literally fall asleep at times. It's not just us though, I know fans that have just outright stopped watching us because it's so boring.

Basically, Rooney is this year's Falcao, and Falcao was starting for us, right up to the end of last season, so I'm expecting the same for Rooney.

The Middlesborough game was a borefest, but when viewed alongside the match day thread, it was very entertaining. When Rooney missed the penalty, the comments had me in stitches.

Heh. I can relate to that. Had no intention of watching any football, MOTD or otherwise this weekend after the Palace game but ended up catching highlights of that game during the news and couldn't take my eyes off the footage. It seemed like a strange and alien sport.

If Morgan is out and Rooney is playing at #10 I'd play Herrera next to Carrick or Bastian in a deeper role.

We're at home and we need to win tonight, plus Rooney is atrocious. There's no need for such a defensive, laborious midfield selection, provided it's Carrick and Bastian who partner eachother in midfield.
