Expecting Sancho to appear on the right mostly so Greenwood starting ahead of Rashford won't make sense but we'll see. Rashford did provide a nice assist last game and has done that last season a few times for Cavani from the right.

Perhaps we'll see Donny get 20-30 mins. If he gets 2 mins of injury time then we'll know Ole has hypnotized Ralf over the long phone call.

Am I surprised to see this line-up? Yes a bit. Am a worried about the lack of immediate change? Not at all.

I think it's normal that a new manager in the middle of the season introduce his changes progressively as opposed to all at once. I also think this is consistent with the "everyone gets a fresh start" idea. That extends even to the team who won the game against Arsenal.

All that being said, I wouldn't be surprised to see changes relatively early on in the match, even at half time if performances are underwhelming.

Why everyone thought Rangnick would suddenly change the team drastically in 2 days is beyond me. Everyone hates McFred but they have the highest win percentage of any midfield partnership. We simply dont have any other better options. Sure DVB could come in but it is not a proven partnership yet.

The most crucial change I hope he makes is Rashford on the left and Sancho on the right, or else then I will think he has lost his mind. Other than that its fine.

With the right guidance and discipline McFred can be much better, they've both had good spells in the past. Much of the first team has lost its way and he'll make the necessary changes over time.

As erratic as Fred has been in some of his passing, he's also been the most improved individual player in these last three games as regards to adapting to the high pressing system. No one is more suited in this regard. It'd be silly to drop him.

I suppose it's a bit odd that there's not a single chnage, but anyone expected a revolution that quickly has totally unrealistic expectations. There's nothing to say we won't see an attempt at a different style even with the same players, although with the lack of training time, I doubt that also. The changes will come in time, once he has figured out what's what, and gets some training ground time. I'll be happy to get a win and go on bit of run to get us through December, and then into a period where they can perhaps work on some things.

Seems weird to me that they'd decide to have the kick off at the same time, why not have it as an evening kick off instead? I'd have probably watched it then.
