Very good football played, but very frustrating that we couldn't score.

This will turn into an annoying game if we let time passes or we enter the last 20 minutes with it still 0-0.

Need to take our chances and score early in second half.

A lot of encouraging signs in how we build up our attacks and press though. With more time I'm sure Ralf will turn this United side into an enjoyable side.

Can't be unhappy at that half, just missing the goal and a bit of composure. Had plenty of really good positions that we just didn't get the shot off or the right shot off. Great intensity, really good pressing, really quick and direct when we get the ball. More of the same

Missed most of the first half....... how has it been?

It's been ok. The first half-hour we looked quite good. Lots of energy and high pressing. But we never really created any big chances. Then the last 10/15 minutes the intensity has gone out of the game and it has been very comfortable for Palace.

For all of our huffing and puffing, you can't point to many good chances we've had.

That first half hour was absolutely relentless, brilliant football and totally different to the shite we've had post-SAF. We then got tired and took our foot off the gas a little... need to keep at it and keep the intensity next half, the goal will come.
