Thank feck for mata coming in and palace being shit. They just parked the bus all game but too many underperforming. Rooney was poor, Van persie poor, fellaini shit, di Maria and januzaj poor.

Not the best performance in the world. At least we kept a clean sheet but that's probably more down to (agent) frazier campbell and an absolutely dire jason puncheon.

We really need to sort out the balance of this team and quickly. It doesn't help we change formations every other week. The players are already new to the country and club..changing every week is not going to help them settle.

3 points though and you got to take it considering we ended up with a lineup that consisted of 3 midfielders in our back four.

The other question is whether or not RVP gets dropped? His form has been appalling and the next match is against the gooners away from home. Should Mata keep his place in the side after todays performance?

Also dispels the notion that he cant play on the wing. Mata is fine there. At least no worse than Adnan on the right.
