I'm not sure it is Fellaini keeping him out. He has decided to go with wingers, has pushed ADM out wide, which tbh isn't working and Januzaj is being picked again and again even though he hasn't done much to deserve it.

Very disappointed in the team. Firstly, to see RVP starting over Wilson, but mainly due to us playing Blind at cb. Short, slow, and less tactically aware than Carrick. He has literally been chosen to play there solely because he is left footed, a ridiculous justification against a relatively tall Palace team. I could honestly see us losing this, in which case we're in serious trouble. I hope we see a great performance today, particularly from di Maria who's been shockingly poor the last 2 games. I'm worried though, much moreso than I thought I'd be.

Would have liked Wilson to start but lets hope RVP can find some form again and most importantly,find the net!
Disappointing to see Herrera on the bench again and Di Maria out wide.

But we should win anyway,no excuses if we dont.

Didn't see the Blind at centre-back change. Not sure why since he has played there in the past. Thought it be Carrick though. Impossible to predict how our defence will do so I won't even bother trying. Rest of the team is predictable but I'm happy enough with it. I would like to see Herrera play more often though.

Feel bad about Mata, think he is a tremendous player in all honesty, plus the fact that I feel he gives us a boost towards this continental, fluid and silky playing style we all seem to have wanted so badly, even more so than Rooney.

Don't get me wrong i'm not one of these Rooney haters, he's great. If anything though, we should drop RVP, stick Rooney in the number 9 position and play Mata behind. Although our formation today doesn't really accommodate that.

Sad really.

I am tempted to say: ¨Bring back the 3-5-2¨ especially if we need to put non-defenders like Blind central. It wouldn't hurt to have another CB (possibly even fellaini) to deal with crosses because of the lack of height.

Hope Blind does well in defence as I personally can't wait to get Carrick back into our engine room. I think he will supply Di Maria to amazing effect to Rooney, RVP and Januzaj have chances aplenty..
