The hype on Gomes is exactly the same as the CAF hype on all the youngsters. Garner hasn’t exactly shown much in any game he has played. Chong has been simply horrendous.
The only youngster that has clearly stood out is Greenwood. Williams has been ok as well.Wow, this is strong lineup for thos kind of game. What is up with Gomes? Not even on the bench.

I think we can assume only one of three things:
- He’s been poor in training;
- He’s had a poor attitude; or
- He’s made it clear he’s leaving in the summer.
But without an actual comment from management we are only left to suppositions. Either way, it doesn’t look good for his future here.

Worst part is, probably not. Our second choice midfielders genuinely are 50/50 in terms of being better than League 2 midfielders, it's not a joke either. This could go either way.
