Nobody wants to run beyond towards goal or make third man runs which break deep defences.

everything is just played back and square in front of their defensive line, then head height crosses into the box which are easy to deal with.

this sort of match is good practise for us, but my god it’s frustrating.

I think we're seeing the results of a recent plan to work the ball inside. Ole knows he needs to come up with better solutions to break teams down, so this game seems to me to be a bit of an experiment in that regard. But we need to up the tempo and work their keeper at least a tiny bit.
