Garnacho...worrying...headless at times. He's got talent...and when he doesn't have a decision to make he's usually decent, but whenever he has time and space to get his head up he's so frustrating.
Ugarte also worrying. Looks a bit sluggish, looks off the pace, not great on the ball. I'm happy to give him time to settle but early red flags for sure.

Now, a couple of years later, we're still buying ball-winning midfielders, yet lacking that creative, press-resistant presence in the center.
Take Ugarte, for instance. He might thrive under Amorim’s system, but without two press-resistant midfielders, any team can simply target the weaker link—the one less comfortable on the ball.
