We’re almost there, the biggest problem I think is a lack of communication and individual selfishness when we’re going forward.

They don't trust him. He won a pen having miscontrolled the through ball.
Miscontrol?? The ball barely went over the Chelseas player head, he had to suddenly anticipate it. I think he did well with the first touch, gave himself a good angle to shot near post.

Zirkzee looks like an Antony signing. So far off the pace of the league and clueless in front of net. Starting to think he only works in a team with goal scoring wing forward.
Antony is better. There is nothing to Zirkzee's game. What is he good at?. Martial is better when injured.

    utter nonsense

Great input. You just seem to be in here defending him to the hilt and picking fault. He is deliberately contrarian when it comes to United and tries his hardest to appear to be unbiased. It leads to some utterly stupid commentary from him and even other team’s fans notice it.

Fair result in the end. Didn’t deserve to win nor lose that match. End product from both teams was woeful.

Amorim can't come soon enough. We don't look like scoring from regular play.
That’s because we haven’t a number 9. We created a fair number of chances today and in the end had to rely on a penalty.
Amorim might be a fantastic coach but even he can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
Why the feck we bought Zirkzee I don’t know and as for Hojlund, I doubt even Stockport would take him.

Completely agree and I think it was the main thing that started putting question marks in my head about ten Hag. How Amorim treats our central midfield and how he prioritises signing players who are press resistant @Yagami will illustrate a lot, I reckon
This was why I was one of the first people on here to express my concerns about ten Hag, and I got a lot of stick for it. His first transfer window, to me, indicated that he either had no intention of making a team that looked to inflict our game on our opponents, or that ten Hag himself was simply a bad judge of talent, and he was never going to make it if he was going to have any say in our transfer dealings. His idea of kicking on from that somewhat promising 1st season was signing Mason Mount...

You like to think our new structure will sort this out, and Amorim will be the man to take full advantage. I'm still aching to see us dominate top opposition, and to move away from giving up the majority of possession against every good team we face.

He really couldn't have, Amad was running into the channel he was running into...
We are definitely referring to two different parts of the game. Look below to see the part I’m referring to.
You think he did well there? He should have release the ball here:

he made a really poor choice

Amad is offside, or at least very close too it, which was probably on Garnachos mind here. Then Amad inexplicably decides to run into the channel that Garnacho was running into.

Hoijland had one touch in the Chelsea area, and that as when he was fouled for the penalty.
    Zirkzee wasn't a lot better

I’ve never seen someone so insistent on being wrong. He isn’t off side. He’s on side by the left sided defender. He isn’t on with the closest defender but Garnacho had the ability to play it to him when he was .

Looks off to me, and Garnacho was looking along the line in a great position to see and so thought better of the pass, possibly due to Amad not holding his run.

so you'd prefer him to be another Carragher? No thanks. I'd prefer unbiased and to be told things we might have missed, which is his job and he does it well. How come no one has a go at Keano who is far more hostile?
