We literally gifted Arsenal 4 goals on a plate after they struggled to score even a single goal in their three previous matches and we were shite for like 85 minutes against West Ham last weekend. Our players have completely let off the gas assuming we’re already secure in the top 4.

Doesn‘t matter how many players United are missing, we can lose to anyone at the moment the way we’ve been playing.

youve obviously not been watching how utterly shambolic our defence is. You need not worry.

Nor has he watched our attack - equally as shambolic. Last 10 games, goals scored...

    Arsenal - 1
    Liverpool - 0
Norwich - 3 (Ronaldo hat trick)
    Everton - 0
    Leicester - 1
    Atletico - 0
Tottenham - 3 (Ronaldo hat trick)
    Man City - 1
    Watford - 0
    Atletico - 1

Basically, stop service to Ronaldo and we're not scoring.

Hearing Will Fish will be in the squad. Been impressed by what (admittedly not much) I've seen. There always seems to be a reluctance to give young defenders a chance when compared with, say, centre forwards. Injuries forced Rashford into the side and he was a revelation back then. I'd like to see Fish given a chance, albeit facing Chelsea is a big of ask of the youngster

Is that the same Billy the fish that used to play for Fulchester Utd.

    Proper slippery that one.

Lukaku does always score his goals against the weaker sides... maybe a few tonight will result in Chelsea sticking with him for next season.

Can’t see anything else but another defeat, hopefully it’s not humiliating.

I surely would not play one player that will not be on the squad next year. I would rather play the youth and our remaining players. If nothing else it gets the younger guys game time. If we get beat it will build character and make them better.
Why play players that are leaving when a game really doesnt mean anything for this season?

Going to the pub who don't have it on so will just check the score now and then. I'm not a glory hunter I'm 51 and can remember some shit when I was younger but am more disconnected from this squad than any before. It will improve some day.

Looking forward to seeing some of the youngsters get some minutes
I hope Fernandez and Hanibal get to start alongside Elanga.

Ralf has said he won't be throwing in the kids, that it is unfair on them and they need to be introduced into the right environment. It will be the same crap.

    @Niall @Damien

We need Fernandez in the squad here.
@Damien will find an excuse for not adding him. Fewer possibilities means he can safely defend his 2nd place.
I don't have the power to add players but Niall's usual policy is that he doesn't add players an hour before picking lineups close as it only benefits those who log on late to pick their teams.

But he's the second coming of Sergio Ramos going by his looks and nationality.

So Ronaldo has scored a hatrick every 4th game over the last 10 games? This is United's third game since his last hatrick. Phew.

I forgot this was on. Don't think I've ever been as disinterested in a game against Chelsea before.
Came on to post this because I just got a notification on my phone reminding me of this game, I didn't even know it was happening today, so disillusioned am I from this season.

Lukaku starting this? Or available? I would think I hit rock bottom, but seeing that guy score against us would just rub salt in the wound.

    Almost zero chance he starts.

Can't remember the last time I was less interested in us playing a big side. What a shite season.

Always play for the win or get the best result. Nothing less. There is still chance we can pick up some places even if it is very unlikely. But as long as there is chance it is never impossible.

Only remembered this game was on when someone mentioned it to me on my lunch break.

My interest and following of the club is at an all-time low :(
