That analysis just is embarassing. No closing down from the players, Rashford walking while there is Jorginho all free and needs to be covered.

Embarrassing stuff - like we are playing Adelaide FC on the first day of preseason. Maybe not even that intense. Perhaps if someone shouts rondo we might see more effort?

You can see these guys don't know how to keep the ball. It's huffing and puffing again. Roll on next season.
Huffing and puffing? These boys aren't even breaking a sweat - they're simply participating at walking pace

Telles comes in with this reputation for being an attacking player with great stats but instead he’s actually a liability in defence and he’s pretty poor going forward. Shaw is the better player but even that’s not saying much. We’re bloody awful.

His stats were only that good because he took all the penalties and free kicks at his former club, he had almost no goals and assists from open play.

De Gea is the only one showing he wants this club. I refuse to believe that all the other players all of a sudden hate the club and do not want to be here. But they show no motivation at all. Rashford and Varane are trying, but not playing that well.
    Ronaldo is outworking them all

Tellers obviously isn’t good enough, but it’s absolutely ridiculous to pile in on him when he is getting no flank support whatsoever. He has every right to go ballistic on Rashford in the dressing room and to a lesser degree on Matic, who is nowhere to be seen in support.
Yeah all 3 have been woeful. Sunday league at best.

Has there ever been a team so unprofessional as United at this level before ? Massive wages, zero effort, moaning, fighting with each other etc. Most of them should seriously not play a single game again for us.

I think Rashford has been trying today, but he has zero self confidence.
only tries when he gets the ball. he does sod all defensively and is leaving telles 2v1 all game long

don't see what we've got to lose by bringing a couple of young lads on

we're heading to defeat here if nothing changes

we are depressingly awful and awfully depressing. Lindelof and Varane have been doing OK, other than that nothing. I expect to concede a goal within five minutes of the restart

The move where Havertz was one on one with DDG started with a simple pass taking out five of our players. Shockingly amateurish defending. When Kante shot unmarked from 14m Rashford casually walked towards the Chelsea player who made the cutback pass. They need to be hooked Balotelli style for them to understand it.

There is about 2.8 Wolkswagens worth of space between every player on the pitch at any given time when Chelsea is on the attack.

There have probably been instances where players haven't bothered when they've been trying to get a manager sacked. I reckon Chelsea will have been guilty of it a couple times. But I can't remember a team having such a prolonged period of not giving a shit

When Tyler shouted "Mount!", gave me the fright of my life and wondered where the horse was

United attacking the Stretford end in the 2nd half, meanwhile at home, Luke Shaw is attacking the Uber Eats App.

Clearly so many things wrong with our play but has anyone noticed how our headers are never directed? More just get your head on it.

I'm gonna go on record and say that the warning signs were there even during the couple of seasons where Rashford netted 20+. A great number of people dismissed the clear level of immaturity and inconsistency in his general play because scoring goals made confirmation bias very easy to depend on.

What you're seeing is Rashford minus goal or assist contribution. He's always been this inconsistent. He's always been criticised with poor decision making. This is not a regression of a good player into a poor one. This is a regression of a goal contributor into a goalless contributor.
Agreed - he's never had a consistent game - just good stats.
