    There's no qualifiers for top4 anymore.

    Though winning EL would make us first seeded which would put us in a easier group.

    English teams dont have to qualify for CL anymore. Top 4 means CL no matter what.

    But winning Europa League is a bonus because u get in Seed 1

    It seems like Ole has a different strategy for that than our past managers.

    Been chopping and changing my personal team, but I’ve come to the conclusion:

    De Gea
    AWB Bailly Maguire Williams
    Fred
    McT Pogba
    James Martial Rashford

    Just about the right blend of resting players (Bruno and Greenwood) and having the stars required to kill the game.

    Prediction: United 3-1 Chelsea: Rashford X1, Martial X1, Ighalo X1

    Absolutely.

    TFM looked a long way off the pace against Palace, and I wouldn't trust him against a competent team like Chelsea.

    Williams, whenever he has played, looks the part.

    He didn't look any worse than AWB did. In fact Id say he was slightly better than AWB on the night.

    Williams should come in though if fit as hes a better player. End of.
     
    It seems a bit much to expect to beat chelsea for a fourth time in one season, so I'm not overly confident. We will need to defend a hell of a lot better than we did against southampton - if we don't we are done for because they have players who are scoring goals right now. we will also have to be more clinical up front because I can't see it being a game with lots and lots of big chances

    Yeah, it's not just about the players its about the money. No champions league = less money = no sancho.for our future, the champions league is more important right now.
     
    A lot of the so called leaked teams on twitter has Lingard starting. For what reason? Can't say you are taking this semi final seriously if he starts.
     
    Word on the street is 3 at the back with Maguire, Lindelof and Bailly. Romero in goal. Pogba, Martial rested.
     
    It is very difficult to predict anything - the line-up, the scoreline.
    The worst thing for either team would be to play a tough 90 minutes following by a gruelling extra-time.

    It is a straightforward decision to choose the CL qualification over the FA cup. One poster wrote 'success breeds success', but for the sake of the CL qualification, I hope the match finishes in 90 minutes with no operose extra-time.
     
    Obviously I want us to win this, but I'm pretty relaxed and that's a nice feeling. I'll be a lot more nervy versus West Ham in the league, but I won't be too upset if we lose this.

    It's not about "are you fit enough to start" I didn't say that did I.

    It's about have you got the energy to play this and that game in such a short space of time or do you feel you need a rest. :lol:
