Ole is an idiot for not resting him. He's really shown himself up today.OK, end of our FA Cup run. Ole will rue not giving Sergio a match, although looks as if this will go down as a Maguire OG.
Some of these players have played every game since the restart and others have hardly played any, and it's showed today. Hope we can summon up some energy now for West Ham and Leicester, but I was fearful this could happen. Pretty well every other team has slipped up since the restart and we've almost bucked the trend up until now.
Williams looked as if he hadn't recovered from his collision and Maguire looks really tired now.
With Lingard probably on the way out, Pereira not playing and Young and Fellaini gone, it looks as if Dan James is the whipping boy for the haters now, with Scott McTominay following not far behind.Nothing goes our way

Well their defence is doing well but that is partially because United is not building up anything. United are not building up anything because of the persistent fouling. Chelsea's pressing has been outstanding though. The cynical side of me feels that is only possible because the FA arranged to help Chelsea with the extra 2+ days of rest while United had less than 2 days to rest.Dreadful in-game management I’m afraid. I don't even think the set up was that bad. We struggled for half an hour but started seeing more of the ball after that. Then we've had a long break for a bad injury and had to reshuffle, then De Gea lets in a soft goal followed by an absolute fecking howler and we're two down having to scramble subs. The individual performances today have been poor across the park.
In an ideal world of course Ole goes full strength from the off and goes toe-to-toe but injuries and fatigue are in danger of derailing us here.
