Fecking another hour away after the clocks turned back an hour for GMT.

Hellp people, if Falcao isn't fully fit, would you start him? It's astonishing the number of people who keep banging on the Falcao should start drum. If he is not fit [And Van Gaal would know this] then he should not start. If he's fit then fine, all well and good.

How about a 4-4-2 diamond with Herrera at the tip and Valencia on the right side, yes, that's what I would play or go 4-2-3-1 with Fellaini [Yes] alonside Blind as the double pivot, Valencia on the right, Angel left and Herrera as #10.

I think we are going to get beaten.

I don't think Maureen will let them run riot, I think they will quickly get to three nil and then they will coast the rest of the match similar to what Madrid did to liverpool doing the week.

Remember when Arsenal came to OT last season having been the form team in the Premier League.

We were fecking shit prior to that game and even more gash afterwards.

    But we won that game.

    I'm confident we'll win today.

And go back to being mediocre next week

I would have liked to see Carrick in this match.

    ---------------de Gea
    Rafael---Jones---Rojo---Shaw
    --------------Carrick
    -----Herrera-------Blind
    Januzaj-----Falcao----Di Maria

Don't think he's quite ready for a tough game like this yet though.
And van Gaal won't drop van Persie.

I don't want to see di Maria in a cm position today.
If he does, I think Mourinho is likely to put Ramires on him. I believe Ramires could do a good job cancelling our star man out of the game.

    The team I have predicted:

    DDG
Rafael Jones - Rojo - Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera - Di Maria
    Fellaini
    Van Persie - Falcao

I went for this too, although I wouldn't be surprised if Valencia or Young are in there for Fellaini with Di Maria moving up into the hole.

I disagree, we might not have the organisation perfect just yet but I think we will be giving double efforts and that will count for something. I don't expect us to be walked over like you are suggesting. They only beat Palace 2-1, Bolton 2-1, conceeded 2 against Everton, 2 against Swansea and 3 against Everton.

Our attack is capable of scoring 2 or 3, nae dow bow tha.

Chelsea, specially mourinho's chelsea, arent arsenal. The latter is a mentally weak team that pisses itself at every opportunity.

Is evans injured? Can use him next to jones/rojo who are both hotheads.

I'll watch the game until Chelsea scores. Then I'll just change a channel and check the result on text few times. I'm that nervous already...

This needs to be our cup final.

Evans freely giving the ball away at every given opportunity around Oscar, Hazard and Diego Costa? No thanks.

I agree with this , the problem is our defence is capable of conceding 3-4.

I think we'll lose. I just hope we lose with some sort of pride if a loss is the case. I do not want to see us mentally flaking out when things go wrong. I want to see the same desire shown in the last game.

We'll see the character of our players today.

I seem to gain optimism, then I come in here and it is all drained away. Now I am thinking I will take the do for his longest walk of the year.

If I was a betting man, I do think they'll be too strong for us unfortunately.

To have any chance we'll have to stand up and go toe-to-toe with them, not play like we did at home to City and Liverpool last season when we looked scared to death.

Part of me is annoyed with myself that I'm so lacking in confidence going into the game. It's not like we're Burnley going in to a game against Chelsea.

If we do manage to get a win, it would be a huge result for confidence.

I wonder if Mourinho is going to be bold and go for the win.

I doubt it very much tbh and it is for that reason i think United will have a decent chance today.

    So is Falcao fit?
He was branded a doubt last night. Some believe it's mind games, some have taken it as he's out and probably has done his knees in, some don't know what's going on because the real question is...does Fellaini play?

Diego Costa supposedly is not with the Chelsea players in the hotel and will not play any part today

Don't shoot the messenger If he does starts and scores though :nervous:

Biggest positive today - No Hernandez. :smirk:

Not too concerned who starts up front for us, we don't need Costa to score against Utd's defence.

Would anyone else be tempted for 4-5-1 with Valencia wide right to try and sure up our defence somewhat?

This is gonna be a boring 0-0 with both teams playing defensive, mark my words.

    errrrr

Carrick to play some sort of role today then..?

    @GraemeCarrick
"8.5 years on, still never take for granted going to Old Trafford to see @carras16 do his thing, especially after 5-6 month out. Can't wait!"

To be fair you don't need players to score against our defence, just stay in the locker room and eventually our back line will spoof it into their own net

Hoping for the win. What a moral boost it would be if we can get 3 points today. But our defend is shit at the moment. And expect we will continue to concede silly goal again.
