What's wrong with people moaning about playing a youngster ? is Greenwood 30 ?

There's also Gomes and Garner on the bench and they will have game time.

Why would he get one? First rat off the sinking ship. Forgive me if I don't weep for his loss.

His best work was his hollow words so a send-off on Twitter is fitting, to be honest.
    Absolutely awful post, sorry.

What? You literally just said this:

Your post is garbage. Herrera won our player of the year last year, you don't win that by looking 'ok in a few games'.

He is 'only' on £60k a week whereas his peers (who aren't even as good as him) are on double that or more.

He obviously loves the club and 5 years is a good amount of time to spend here.

You just come across as a bitter fickle fan. I'm not saying he needs to have a farewell party, just show some more respect.

So what you are saying is because we are stupid and pay over the odds for one we should do it for all?

He doesn't deserve 200k and I hope this is the start of the club clamping down on shit like that.

And I didn't give him any stick, which great Manchester United side would Herrera get into? None. He is average, made to look better in our dwindling standards.

    as I said, feck him.

Thank God this is the last game of the season for us.

Match hasn't started yet and it's getting toxic already on this thread. We are going nowhere when everything and everyone is criticised so much! It's depressing as hell.

Btw where is harrop? Jose didnt play him again.

Yeah calling peoole snowflakes and smilies r the same thing.

Yeah ones a childish no substance response and one is a label for those easily triggered into defending their doctrine.

It doesn't matter where Harrop went, starting youth (not those who have played senior football for seasons) is a little reward for those who did well in the youth ranks. Gomes has had a good season and deserves more than just a sub appearence he's already passed that being significant.

Because we have nothing to play for and Liverpool-Wolves will be a good game with a lot riding on it.

Greenwood is starting his first game. That’s worth more than watching a Liverpool game over ours.

Unless he said 11 youth players will start the game, what is he not delivering?

Good chance Garner and Gomes will play at least 30 mins and Greenwood is starting.

We've got Greenwood, Rashford, Dalot, Mctominay, Periera and Lingard starting today (all aged 21 or under) plus Gomes and Garner on the bench, both are likely to make an appearance at some point in the game. That's more than enough youngsters for my liking.

We wasn't really expecting the entire first team to be academy grads, were we?

The amount of moaning for the last game of the season where Mason is starting is incredible. Toxic.

As i said arguing with an idiot. Lets ignore the ones who have played/playing and will come in the second half.

    Exactly.

    Lingard is 26.
    Pereira is 23.

Yeah, if Watford wins FA cup and we finish 6th then Europa league starts in July. It's hilarious people expect so many young players when we have something meaningful to play and not mess up next season.

People have seen enough of the senior squad letting us down week after week, so I think it's fair enough wanting to see more change in this game.

So what if we have to start the Europa in July, it might actually be a consequence for the players for once, get them back in early, and ready to go.

No point in playing youngsters for the sake of it. They haven’t been used ahead of the selected players before now, so why should they be thrown in at this point?

    Any rivers knocking about?

Can't be bothered watching City of Liverpool win the league much rather watch Greenwood

It really is. Win or lose I'm excited for the lad. Let's not turn his PL debut toxic.

I just fecking hope we score a few goals and win today. End the season with some optimism for us fans.

Getting 6th place means that we have to play more games as we have to qualify for the Europa Leauge and change all our pre-season plans. This game is more important than people give it credit for.

It absolutely matters that we get a win here, its not a meaningless game.

People here want first 11 with kids then they'd be the ones moaning about not including some seniors in that 11.

Fifa must be fun on Easy.

As i said arguing with an idiot. Lets ignore the ones who have played/playing and will come in the second half.

Once again you're incapable of reading or offering any counter point beyond insults.
