He is worse than any of them. And Foster was actually good, just couldn't cut it mentally here.During the dark days of Tim Howard, Roy Carrol and Ben Foster, Fergie would have no hesitation in dropping one that made a mistake.
Time for Amorim to do the same.
Brighton are streets ahead at every level. It’s sobering to say that aloud as it really drives home how far we have fallen. Liverpool, even during those 30 years away from the PL title, were never as bad as we are. Glazers have well and truly fecked us over.Losing to Brighton has been quite regular this last few years.
But just in case anyone thought we were further along than we are, there's so much work to do just to get us back top 8 again.
Brighton just look faster, stronger, slicker. That's worrying.
Ya it’s really not , get a gripNo surprise at all. I just don’t know where we go from here. The championship is a very real possibility. Awful team and the worst United side I have seen since the mid to late eighties when Peter Davenport and co were stinking the place out.
Yeah, I’m so desensitized at this point, there’s no pain, can’t help but laugh. It's so crazy I can't help laughing
add can't command his area and can't catch the ballBrighton are a couple miles better than us in every department.
Also we brought onana because he was supposedly this great sweeper keeper. But I have yet to see it. Can’t dribble, can’t pass between the lines, can’t distribute..
Degea regularly kept us in games like this.
What happened to Casimero that he can't get a game in this shite team?
Me too, they have had enough training sessions now to understand and implement what the manager wants. Most are simply not good enough.I'm struggling to accept that a full pre season of training will transform or improve this team
He’s too fat and not enough goodWhat happened to Casimero that he can't get a game in this shite team?
On the bright side, he does some stellar kicks out for a throw in.Well, Onana really did revolutionize the way we play. A keeper who refuses to catch the ball is something else.
Disagree, letting De Gea go on a free and spending £50m on Onana was terrible business.
Onana is inferior to De Gea and the squad has bigger problems than the keeper that needed fixing, even at that time.
50m for Onana and now we’re cutting staff Christmas presents and stopping small charity payments. The contrast is so stark it’s unreal. If Bayindir isn’t getting chances over Onana then how bad must he be? Because Onana is ridiculously shit
Getting a LWB when we don't even have a suitable second is a priority.Having a decent goalkeeper that doesn't cause howlers is a priority
Mental side is still a thing too....He is worse than any of them. And Foster was actually good, just couldn't cut it mentally here.
This guy was supposed to herald the paradigm change in the way we played. Why isbhe being compared to DDG when he might end up worse off even there?Please....he was completely shite at the end
We were, but it is different topic.Onana being a bad keeper doesn’t mean we were wrong to move on De Gea
He’s not interested. Why would you be. He’s had his career, a brilliant one at that. Now he gets an unbelievable pay day at £350k a week for watching football whilst keeping fit. What happened to Casimero that he can't get a game in this shite team?
Amorim looks like he wants to hit something
Yah. I don't even feel anything when pools fans taunt us.Yeah, I’m so desensitized at this point, there’s no pain, can’t help but laugh.
What are you talking about. Brighton are a good footballing side. We aren’t. Using caps doesn’t legitimize your point. We SHOULD NOT BE FECKING LOSING TO BRIGHTON.
Just thinking about ETH -- maybe he was overimpressed with his own ability to teach players? Onana (for example) seems to be just likely to make a blunder as a great save.I am starting to think that ETH was a plant to destroy United.
If your point is we should have kept De Gea, nah.Degea regularly kept us in games like this.
Amorim's probably going to be sacked by March unless we see some remarkable turnaround. Right now there are absolutely no signs of that happening
He pretty much singlehandly ruined our last season, especially in Europe. What I don't understand is that he's so bad at basics that it's hard to believe he has trained for the goalkeeper positionI dont think he ruins seasons but he obviously does have a mistake in him. You just have to hope he makes them at moments it doesnt really matter.
Closer to OGnanaGOnana
We’d had a bad start to the season, but this system alienates the players that were doing well under the previous manager like Mainoo, Garnacho and Mazraoui. We can’t completely rebuild the squad every time we sack a manager, we don’t build on anything. The squad we already had was 13th with the manager who assembled it. The is one occasion where I honestly feel the squad is that poor and disjointed there isn't anyone who could do that much better.
