I think he means with all the injuries we’ve got. If we win with the injury’s we’ve got then we have probably overachieved. Alls I want to see is better football being played than the last 4 games.
We have 2 definite starters in Varane and Shaw out. Mount meh

Back in the 90's I used to throw up so much in the morning worrying about the game. It got so bad that I had stomach ulcers and affected my life. I think it lasted for about 4 years.
I was in the military and everyone in my barrack block laughed at first and then got so worried about me.

Then about 2003/2004 I just calmed down. I think it was being told i could die from the stress. I got my health better and 2005 I got my season ticket. Which I still have.

Today I write this on the train from London to Manchester I can say I'm the most relaxed person ever regarding football. Maybe I'm getting old. I'm 50 by the way. Today will be a very good game. Brighton are a good team and we will probably concede. However we can win this game and 3 points will be bloody fantastic.

Today for me is meeting my mates, having a nice meal before the game, a few beers and just watch the footy. At no point will I worry....Well not much. I just want to enjoy the day.

So relax dude. Life's too short. It's just a football game. Enjoy the day and watch some good football played. It's not like we have Moyes as manager

One of the things you gain from getting older is perspective. There are more important things in live or you choose to spend energy only in select places/situations only.

Nice one mate, hope you have fun!

Im so used to going up and seeing a loss I see it the same way. go and enjoy.

It’s defence I’m worried about. Plus we have Antony out who always starts for some reason. I’m hoping Hojlund can come in and completely transform our attack. A lot to ask from a 20 year old though.

    Totally agree.

I used to be so angry post 2013 that my wife actually worried about my mental health. But a couple years and I finally understood that this is just a game. Enjoy it if it's a good game and just forget about it if it's shit. The only times I couldn't bring myself any excitement before the match was Jose and Ronaldo time.

Hope to see Hojlund start and bag 1 or 2 goals, the team need good result after the shitshow in the last 2 weeks and no need to overcomplicate thing, play Bruno and Rashford in their best positions.

He may not even start? Or is Martial's injured again?

Lindelof and Licha are available arent they? i think we are good, atleast for today.

Yeah Lindelof has improved a bit under ETH and has been largely faultless when having to step in for Varane. It won't be an easy game because I see us try to play on the front foot like we did against Arsenal and Tottenham. We're a team that has for years relied on counter attacks against this sort of teams. So keeping them at bay and being ruthless when we create chances will decide this one.
We're the better team, we just have to play to our potential.

Wow, I'm not an optimistic person(quite contrary, actually) and I can't believe the level of pessimism in this thread. This is a home game, we finally have a striker in the team after who knows how long and Brighton lost some of their best players last season(Colwill, Caicedo, MacAllister). Enciso is not playing, Evan Ferguson is doubtful. Wan-Bissaka will probably lockdown Mitoma and they will probably struggle to score, like they did in the last two games we played against them(Shaw gifted them an idiotic penalty in the last minute when we played them away last time).

We performed pretty decent against Arsenal away, considering all the circumstances and injury problems. Maguire, Evans, playing Martial is basically playing with 10 men and we won't have to see that after this season thankfully after his contract runs out.

I don't expect a loss here, think it will be a draw or our win, I'm not sure which.

I just hope I don't see Bruno on the right wing. It annoys me.

Be just like us to not start Hojlund and start Martial, only for the inevitable substitution at 60 minutes after Martial has done nothing. Again.

    Or some shit like:

    ------------------ Rashford
    Garnacho -- Eriksen -- Fernandes
    -----------------------------------
    --------McTominay --- Casemiro

Only for Rashford to do nothing, and Garnacho to be subbed at 60 and Hojlund on; and suddenly we look like a football team.

Slightly pessimistic of me, I know. . . .but, the way things have been going for United, I expect the worst and I'll be pleasantly surprised if we start Hojlund.

Agree. But I think ETH will still start Rashford on the right. Pellistri will be on the bench
Playing Rashford anywhere but left wing is bordering on gross negligence. He is one of the most dangerous wingers on the planet when he starts wide left and he looks ordinary everywhere else. ETH has had more than enough evidence to see this so I want to believe that he won't try Rashford wide right again.

I think Höjlund has already shown enough to be starter. If he is fit, he will start.

If the lads have stopped playing for the manager we’ll see it in the performance today.

If they’ve not we’ll see a big response to him cutting out the dickheads from the first team.

Come on people. We didn't spend 72m on Hojlund to keep him on bench. If he is fit he will definitely start. Antony was starting last season as soon as he came in.

Rashford will be on the left and Hojlund up top, I'm sure. Only question is if it's Bruno/Pellistri/Garnacho on the right wing. If it's Bruno on the right, then we start with McT which means we start with all the senior midfielders who are fit and the only other midfielder on the bench is Gore, who let' be honest, is there just as an additional option in central midfield. This is why it makes me think he is going to start with Pellistri on the right with Garnacho coming on as a substitute.

I dunno man. Seemed to take a while for Casemiro to get a start for us, if I remember rightly.

A draw would be a fantastic result, but I think there’s a high chance our home record ends here. We’ve been very poor, while they have been playing some quality football. So many injured on our side as well. Digging in deep and playing on counters would most likely be best. Just don’t get stomped, that’s all I ask.
I think a draw would be a fecking disaster at home , FFS its Brighton .
OK we are struggling with injuries but a draw at home with Brighton a fantastic result, have a word with yourself.

I think he was the only one. All his other signings were starting right off the bat. Eriksen, Martinez. If I remember correctly, even Malacia as well.

    What the feck

We've lost the last 3 league games to these. A draw wouldn't be the worst result.

    Hojlund is playing. Very pleased.

Once he is fit, he was always going to play. No way we spent 72m on him to keep him on bench in favor of Martial who is barely a PL player these days.
Tastey if true. Probably not true.

It's most probably true. The only one you could argue is who would play on the right wing but other than that the rest all are guaranteed starters in current situation considering the injuries and unavailability we have.
I’d go with this but I’d rather Reguilon than Dalot.

Pretty sure he will play in the CL/Cup matches. In the league, I think this is going to be ETH's trusted lineup for the forseeable future until we get our injured players back.

One of our highest earners entering his prime years, and we have a match at old Trafford today, yet he's stood on a pitch watching kids playing. If he has any self awareness he should be feeling ashamed of himself right now
