I don't think ETH gives a shite about the squad looking like last years, but I still believe he will shake things up to bring a different energy to the team and Old Trafford.

    DDG

    Dalot
    Martinez
    MaGuire
    Malacia

    Fred
    Eriksen
    Bruno

    Sancho
    Rashford
    Garnacho

Not sure why you are so confident, its going to take time for ETH to really make changes to our play really stick. I think we will see 2 steps forward and 1 step back for a while.
I meant confident that’s gonna be the line up! Badly written! I’m terrified of the game

I am confident. We usually have good first matches. Plus the honeymoon period. We gonna crush them to dirt.

Would be beautiful to see Garnacho start on the left.

    The meltdown with McT starts
I've resigned myself to this now that Martial is injured but Elanga will really be a gut punch. Great lad but Brighton will let him have it all day long.

    The meltdown with McT starts
Were people not expecting him to start? Based on the preseason and seeing as we have made no midfield additions so far he is pretty much guaranteed to start.

Same as with Maguire being the RCB rather than the LCB like I see some people putting him in their lineups. Martinez was signed specifically because he was left footed.

I think Garnachos performance was better than anything from Rashford. Both in attack and defence. I'm not alone in thinking Rashfords performances were overblown by some, I've seen plenty of people saying the same.
Im a huge fan of this kid. Really hope he gets some game time this year.

    I’m hoping for:

    DDG

    Malacia
    Martinez
    Maguire
    Dalot

    Fred
    Eriksen
    Bruno

    Sancho
    Rashford
    Garnacho

But I fear Elanga/Lindelof/McTominay/Ronaldo will all start.

My line-up as well. Looking forward to the game, just think we'll draw this one.

    Garnacho and Sancho wrong sides

Remember dithering dave, it's hard to tell ten hag's ability with transfers because he had a great set up at ajax that basically did all the work for him, so far he has played it safe it which a little similar to moyes who was eyeing up baines and fellaini in first summer along premiership proven fabregas that he had watched up close for years and was afraid to gamble on thiago.
I think all the signings he’s wanted so far he’s got. Can tell they was all his choice because he’s worked with them all or at least seen them from close up. That’s why we’re desperate on getting de Jong so the club can show they backed ten Hag instead of going for second and third choices like they did with our other managers.

The most important change is ETH. Excited to see the progress we have made as a team.

What would happen if our forward and central midfield gets bossed around and we get tanked 4 nil ?

I think ETH will lean towards experience, fitness, pre season game time, loyalty. No Ronaldo for sure. Probably Eriksen over Elanga. Martinez over Varane probably.

    We might see:
    DDG
    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Malacia
    Fred
    Scott Eriksen
    Sancho Bruno Rashford

I am thinking this is what we may see too. He might also opt for vdb in the 1st half as he had a full pre season

Id go best 11 - DDG, Dalot, Martinez, Maguire, Shaw (Is he fit?) Fred, Mct, Eriksen, Bruno, Rashford, Sancho. Some good players there. Hopefully Magure, Eriksen, Bruno can get a goal. Youd fancy Rashford to get one as well.
    UTD 4-1

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Shaw
    Donny Fred
    Sancho Eriksen Rashford
    Bruno

All our best available players. BOOM

Donny Eriksen and Sancho will be keep ball champs

I can’t remember been less confident about any season before like I do about this season. Fully expect top 8 finish.

Bruno, Rashford, or Elanga as a 9... The stuff of nightmares that.

You can safely bet on the line up to be:

    DDG
    Dalot Lindelof Maguire Malacia
    Fred McTominay
    Elanga Bruno Sancho
    Rashford
He's big on fitness. Ronaldo as a sub to win the game 1-0.

The team does look like Rangnick's team when resting Ronaldo.

    Rashford
    Garnacho
Why not. Let's change things up and see where it brings us. I'm tired of watching the same limited players play week in week out, rather see young talents play and develop as the season evolves

Lots of gloom and doom about at the minute. I actually can't wait to go on Sunday, I think I may have Stockholm syndrome where I miss the feeling of United ruining my weekends. At least its on Sunday so I can enjoy the first bit.

    Line up:

    DDG
    Dalot Maguire Martinez Malacia
    Fred Mctominay
    Bruno
    Sancho Rashford Elanga

    United 3-1
