    Very enjoyable half. Shame about the offside Would have been one of the best goals this season from us. I want Ronnie to stay
     
    This is all we want from next season. Competent players interested in playing football.
     
    Really good first half and I think Matic, Mata and Ronaldo in particular have been excellent.

    I struggle to fathom how Mata was not able to get games in the number 10 position before Bruno joined when we had Lingard and Pereira stinking up the place.

    We are certainly keeping the ball well, playing from back and quick one touch passing with high intensity. Almost like some Dutch coach has given instructions to play like this.
     
    Funny that our most coherent, professional performance in months is being delivered by this line up. Mata, Matic and Elanga all been very good. Ronaldo too obviously but thats not surprising anymore.
     
    A real testimonial feel about that game tonight with tricks, flicks and smiles. As for the Ronaldo goal that was chalked off, no chance would VAR do that if Liverpool scored it..
     
    What a shame that a beautiful goal like that is chalked off because he was a pubes width offside but VAR can't be used to check for a very clear corner.

    Would completely end pressing as a tactic. You would see teams stretch out the field and you can just go long. Not sure that’s preferable.
     
    Actually enjoyed that. Mata showing exactly the sort of thing we've been missing. His time is up, but its clear what this team has been lacking.
     
    If only Matic and Mata had been a bit harder on the anti-age cream.

    United fullbacks are not world class.

    United need to improve on losing the possession and passing to opposition players. This is were the likes of City are very good. They rarely lose the ball no matter how much you press them.
     
    Decided to show up once there’s nothing to play for. Enjoyable half mind.

    Because our other right-back can't control a football and has the positional awareness of a wombat.
     
    Best bit of football i've enjoyed from us since our first 20-30 minutes under Rangnick where we did Gegenpress on steroids

    I'd like to see this looked at. So much time is wasted in football with offsides. I hate it and it still causes so many issues, and is the cause of so many cracking goals being disallowed. If there's a way to remove it to improve the game, it should be explored.

    Yeah, I still think that if you have VAR they should change the rule. Make it so that ‘if any part of your body is onside then it’s onside’. That way a toe isn’t making you offside instead your heel keeps you on.
