Top of the league (for fewest clean sheets)! At least now we're scoring freely.

If our forwards get blunted by a good side our defence will bury us. We need to get these defenders working and functioning properly.

I'd put the offer back out for Godin. Mainly so he can just teach some of the players how to defend. A very expensive coach if you will.

Watching us reminds me a bit of Liverpool before they strengthened their defence. We're crying out for a top quality CB and a better full back than Young.

As soon as we come back out we need a goal. Hope Ole gave the defenders a piece of the hairdryer! They need to concentrate for fecks sakes.

Issues with our defence. We're suspect in the air. Is Jones on the bench? He needs to come in if he is pronto! Too slow coming out of defence. Our CB"s looking like they haven't got a licence to play the ball forward. More intensity needed and hope Ole gives them a rocket up their arses so we can go for the jugular.

I don't think we going to sign an attacker but damn yes we need to sort this defense and we can go all the way hopefully.

True, I guess we will look at who is available. Hope Sanchez also starts to return to form, that will be a huge help.

    I like the team
I can't understand people that don't rate Herrera. brilliant player

He can be incredibly rash defensively. Hes noy a bad player, but hes certainly not brilliant. Too limited in too many areas for that.

I would say hes a squad player for a team that wins the league.

We've been brilliant going forward and from open play we look ok at the back.

The problem is from every single set piece we've been an absolute shambles and we've looked like conceding from every corner and free kick.

Jose and the media have got us all pining for a clean sheet. Just score more goals and give our rivals something to worry about.
While I agree we should do this first and foremost - it will fall apart against quality teams.

We need to be able to defend and grind out wins when things aren’t going well. Because if we can’t, we’ll have a few more frustrating games along the way. Against teams like Bournemouth, it’s not that much of an issue because they leave loads of space for us to play. We won’t get that luxury in the CL.

It feels great to enjoy watching united again. That's what football is about, even if we don't make top 4, at least we're watching good attacking football and having a good time. Football should never ever be a chore.

Ideally I need Bournemouth to get 4 more corners and 1 more goal.

Happy if it finishes 3-2. £201 from a £1 bet.

Best thing to do is put another 3-4 against these lot, hopefully it'll spook other teams from attacking us.

I kind of miss the days where other teams used to be afraid of going out of their own half.

He's probably better than whatever Liverpool have in midfield tbh individually.

In fairness to Bailly, he's not been terrible on setpieces. It's Lindelof who's gone missing time and time again.

If you only watched highlights of freekicks against us, you'd guess that our two central defenders are Bailly and Matic.

I’ve now seen enough of Lindelof to know he’s good enough. Think he’s increasingly looking a class act. Very happy with Shaw at LB. what we need is an authoritative CB to partner him, and a new right back.

Also need a new DM. Matic loses far too many tackles and defensive headers. Great player for squad rotation though.

DALOT really stood our for me the one time i saw him play. I just walked into the match and i was shocked by the quality of his crosses. If he can defend as well as he attacked that game, we already have our RB.

Liverpool are the only team in the league with a defence who’d currently worry me, but basically every team can hurt us we’re that crap at the back

I was thinking about ECL clubs, Scousers never come into my thinking.

The league in general, not to mention our club, would benefit if the FA just banned Young and Valencia from playing again. To limit the career ending injuries they’re prone to delivering.

Godin is brilliant as a player. Cynical too, we lack that mean streak. Don't think he's attainable though.

De Ligt I think is Barca bound unfortunately. Perhaps Skriniar in the summer, but I'd not seen that much of him personally.
